Had to return the first pair and go up a 1/2 size.

The leather uppers are suede-like at first and have worn into a nice broken-in look over the past several weeks.

One unexpected negative:  The leather is such that the nice gray color turns whitish if you lift your toes up to touch.

ps, I’ve ordered and worn this size in the past from Sebago and Sperry, with no problems.

Somehow Sperry managed to make these shoes such that they are very comfortable to wear either with or without socks.

These are among the very best Sperrys I have ever purchased and I will tell you why.

These Sperrys have excellent arch support and just as advertised, they really do mold them selves to your feet.

I just like them, easy to slip on can wear them on most occasions.

I bought the navy blue version and they are snappy enough to wear  to a nice restaurant, or just knock around on the boat, or as every day walk around shoes.

however, these are pretty good when worn with socks.

He wears them all day at school, and has not had any complaints whatsoever.

I wear a size 9.5 in most running/boat shoes, these fit true to most others.

He has voiced that he is extremely pleased with the comfort and fit of these shoes.

He does have somewhat of a narrow foot, and these shoes fit to his feet perfectly.

but the back and front edges lean in and you lose the inches.

I struggled to find the narrow crocs and find that they lose their grip.

They are very tight on the top of my foot, almost causing pain on one, they may stretch I am not sure,

but returning them as I can't imagine being able to get them on with any type of swelling from the heat/ not sure if the pain on one side would increase or they would stretch.

but they are not true to size, I wear a size 7, but they fit more like a size 6, have to send them back & get a size 8.

My foot is a size 9 to 9 1/2, and unfortunately fitting the length of my foot means that my foot is flopping around in the shoe.

While they are narrow I am struggling to see how some size up because I find them very long.

I had to buy a size 11 and returned the size 10.

These Women's 10 is about half a size too short on me.

I wear a size 41(US 10-10.5) in the EVA Birks, which is a little long.

When wearing for long periods of time the foot gets tired from the support being so soft.

Absolutely love comfortable perfect the best sandals

But these Sperry slides are very comfortable for my arches because of the way the sandals squish to support.

I found them to be Uber comfortable- and I have wide feet!

However, the Women's size 11 is a comfortable fit.

The vamp is comfortable and not too snug,

They are softer and more comfy than my EVA Birks and Crocs, IMO.

They feel comfortable to wear on my wood and tile floors, and they don't make noise as I walk in them.

This slide fits great for a person with a narrow foot.

My Crocs sandals are size 10 and fit well.

After reading some reviews I was excited, not as wide as crocs, won't hold water and like walking on a cloud, perfect for summer slippers or house shoes.

Well, my last new pair just made the "garden shoe" category and I needed some new drivers after my four year closet supply ran out :-)  When trying replacement Cole Haans, they are now much more cheaply made and not as comfortable with less cushioning and no support.

My main issue is the toe box lacks the proper height.

I'm sure w/time the leather will stretch, yet for now it is somewhat annoying.

The removeable insole is thick w/nice spring complimented w/high arch.

The thick T507 insole stabilizes the shoe and prevents easy bending of say a suede house shoe/slipper.

Thin rubber soles w/leather sewn on the bottom will insure that you do not walk w/these in rain/wet grass.

The sole nubs are comfortable to walk upon and give good traction.

Rubs my heel
The back of the shoe rubs against my tendon and it can really hurt.

There were two points within the shoes that actually rubbed against my calcaneus - the heel which cut into my skin.

The back cut into my heel the first few times I wore them,

Prior to that, they really put some blisters on my heels.

however are very weak and snapped when I was lacing the shoes.

Took a couple of wears to be able to walk around in them without them tearing up my flesh (they even ate through the blister bandages I would wear).

Shoe fit
Very hard to get your foot in it due to the tongue being seen in place, better have a shoe horn or cut the tongue loose, which is what I did.

After a great experience buying Sperry Top-Siders from Peltz shoes, when it was time for me to get another pair I went straight to them and I wasn't disappointed.

I have never required any arch support which is good because these do not have any (picture your typical vans shoes or converse where it is dead flat on the inside).
