UPDATE: The soles wear to the point of losing function (definitely lost their rocker technology shape) after 300ish miles on a sidewalk like surface, not even a rough surface really.

UPDATE: The enormous sole wears most for me under the ball of my foot.

This wears away the main portion of the shoe that makes the sole shape rounded.

This has really worn 1/4 inch or so to the point of being concave now.

You can see wear already on the top shoe in my photo.

If you look closely, the second triangle in the sole already has its surface worn down.

They just don’t have as much cushion for when you’re on concrete all day.

The Sketchers Premier Vantage sole is super thick (explaining some of the cushion),

The sole thins a little towards the very front.

but half the comfort and bounce and rocker shape is gone.

Weird thing: these do pick up small gravel.

-shrug-  I would never recommend these for walking miles on a small gravel trail though, since the gravel in the tread changes how the shoe works.

but aren't wobbly and squishy like the Go Max Ultra Evolution.

Also, if you can't see, it is wider than your foot around the ball area, which was just a plus for me in lots of ways, including improved balance, stability and ground contact area when I need it.

First, I found these to be a real improvement over other walking shoes, except maybe Reebok DMX.

The cushioning is thinner towards the toe, making it easier to walk and climb stairs,

I used these as my top walking shoe for 20 miles a week on sidewalk like surface (with the pictured awesome dog).

but not water repellent, plastic toe cap cracks
I purchased these shoes based on my previous experience with last year's Cold.rdy shoes which were water repellent, this Model is not, although they are advertised as such.

Took off two starts just because of false advertising and lack of water resistance, plus after 6 months of occasional wear the clear plastic around the toe cap has begun to crack at multiple places.

however they're completely tearing apart, just a couple days past the return period.

Unfortunately for me this shoe does not have the width adjustability.

if you have a wide ankle of instep consider going for a wide size, this one is not adjustable as other references

Falling apart after 30 of light wear
Had high hopes for these as they are really comfortable,

very comfortable, stable, and good looking.

fit as expected, nice weight and feel on a daily walk or your visit to the supermarket.

It's getting cold and rainy and these shoes keep my feet warm and surprisingly also dry, even without being gore-tex.

Otherwise the fit is good even for people with flat and normal width feet, the design is striking, and the comfort is worthy of the ultraboost name.

Surprisingly stable with a ton of cushioning.

I actually returned the shoes as I decided not to buy the white ..

The sole is well cushioned offering excellent shock absorbency for my old back, yet the shoes remain quite stable.
