I love the stability on the wide forefoot area.

The best for bad knees
I have purchased too many sneakers to count, all in search of comfort as well as stability.

The sole is wide at the toe which gives great stability.

Now, we are getting ready to go on another trip with just as much, if not MORE, walking!!

I have really bad knees, bone on bone pain when walking and for the first time walking in these sneakers is a lot less painful.

I don't turn my ankle wearing these and could walk all day.

though you certainly can't just step back into them they do slide on quickly and were great for walking the concrete floors through DFW.

These are my favorite new balance shoes.

I chose these New Balance mainly because they offered a C width and reviews spoke of the comfort.

Lovely, good for wide feet
Having owned many pairs of older New Balance sneakers, I decided to give these a try.

Roomie toe box which is what I needed for my metatarsal pain.

They press and support my arches into place while giving that central muscle the supported stretch that prevents foot cramps!

That pain has been completely resolved since wearing these daily!

This shoe is OK. Heard it was discontinued, which makes sense.

It’s light for stability and you don’t really notice anything about it other than it’s firmness when you get going.

ASICS Men's Gel-Cumulus 24 Running Shoes

I had to buy a new pair of oval laces at 63 inches to tie them like you do the standard way (bunny ears), Second, there seems to be residue of glue along certain gaps of the shoe, luckily the shoe is black so it's not easy to spot,

I had to REALLY loosen up the laces for comfort.

I had to slightly loosen the laces and have now relegated to having to buy off-market longer laces now to get a healthy bow tie length.

The Ghost sole were too small and my foot felt the edges of the sole on the left and right of the foot.

I got the X-wide and not the regular size for my width.

Cushioned fitness
My son said these fit perfectly for his slim foot, had great stability, neutral pronation and awesome comfort wearing.

I mean that, stability was good, material holds up well so far and I don't think about them.

They feel like walking on a cloud and I will replace all my former brand choices with ASICS!

He lifts, walks, hikes and runs in these and feels they are the best shoes he’s had in a while!

Overall the shoe is great, I bought this to have a new pair of shoes for long walks and potential running.

Best running shoe for me in the 50 years of running- age 65.

Better than anticipated
As I go back to running more consistently, I wanted a shoe that was reasonably priced

We have high arch feet so if you want that kind of support…ASICS is an awesome fit!

Wow, fit great and breathable
I have actually size 9 feet,

but firm footing with a sole that gives way to pressure while supporting at the same time.

but still had some of the cushion like the nimbus and this was perfect!

However.. the 25 model does seem to have more cushion.

I can’t imagine these shoes would work great for me in anything other than a straight line.

but ended up returning them due to an odd, uncomfortable crimping that occurred in the upper along a line across my metatarsals.

I also had a hard time keeping my heel from slipping up and out of the heel cup, even with the laces cinched down tight and the insole removed.

but evidently they haven't figured out that a size 13 foot of pretty normal proportions not only needs a wide toe box, but also a high toe box as well.

but then got really sloppy from the rest of the shoe forwards.

There seems to be a greater level of stability with a reduced amount of the 'pillow' feeeling that I got used too with the 4.0.

My ankles are more stable and not sore after wearing them all day.

Excellent Paradigm substitute for senior citizen
I am in my 70s and use Altra as walking shoes (I am unable to run anymore).

but now I wear nothing else and have a stabler walk and stronger muscles.

Very good shoe
I’ve been running in Altra Torins since the 2.0 came out.

But I will definitely will use them for a marathon at 4.30min/km with no doubting

Natural toe splay and soft soles = no metatarsal issues for an old runner.

For this shoe, Quantic is better than Altra Ego.

I love Altra (zero-drop, natural toe box) so I will not go with any other shoe maker b/c Altra creates a shoes that is specfically designed for natural movement.

A great zero-drop shoe for longer efforts
I’ve been an Altra shoe wearer for a couple years now.

You may want to pass on these if you have wide feet like mine and are in need of a spacious toe box.

After a couple of months of wear, the interior lining down by the toes, started to rip and peel out.

I luv this shoes , I work in a giant warehouse I walk a lot.

but actually they've been fine, even while running.

For me, these have made starting jogging much easier than I remember in the past, so I really like them.

While I won't be running any marathons in these, they will serve me well in everything else I choose to do.

I've owned at least ten different types of Skechers, and these are definitely the most cushioned ones yet, that being said they do have their flaws.

These shoes are amazing, I really enjoy walking and training with these shoes.

Water did get in soft snow conditions, as the snow got  stuck in the upper mesh and melted.

but the shoe could benefit from slightly better waterproofing.

Not the best traction on rocks, where you'd prefer the rubber and not the hobnails to be contact with a hard surface.

The lugs are also not meant for hard surfaces, the rubber is on the softer side and I saw some damage after rocky trails.

I'd much rather have them be built in the shoe by default though, as inserting the extra hobnails yourself will not be as clean of a job as if it was done by a machine.

The "removable" aspect is also a bit of a joke: if you've inserted a hobnail in a lug and remove it, the lug will be somewhat

It feels very stable in most/all situations.
