The soles will be the first thing on these to start showing wear, and honestly, the outsoles wear much more quickly than they should.

Never had a stripped or dissecting seam, broken eyelet (those are metal), or the dreaded "total glue failure," where the outsole starts to curl out a little bit, then starts coming apart from the upper, ultimately resulting in most of the upper becoming unattached to sole.

I'd get half a size down though, they are very roomy,  maybe too much if you order your normal size

The other great thing about the outsole is its width--very stable shoe.

Its really important that folks that can't feel their feet have a stable, supportive step, and this shoe provides that in spades.

Perhaps best overall is the ability to put these guys on in the morning, regardless of my workday (office, traveling, jobsite, or just hiking around farmground) and know I'll be comfortable and stable, even with my terrible, terrible feet.

Comfortable and long lasting
I have owned a pair for over two years and it has held up in both office and outdoor settings.

The upper is nice and sturdy; while they don't protect your feet as well as boots, they do protect them better than most shoes, and certainly most shoes you'd consider for a business casual dress code.

Good Arch Support
My husband wears these everyday to work in lui of work boots (he hates having anything right around his ankles) and really likes the arch support and overall comfort of the shoe.

One of the best aspects of this shoe is its ability to work in all types of environments, and if you're okay with shoes that look a little worn, you can wear these things for a very long time.

While I now wear prescription orthotics soles in my shoes (including these), the Sketchers Relaxed Fit insoles are very nice, about like having a brand new pair of quality drugstore insoles installed.

But, don't let those wearing soles fool you; still plenty of life left in the shoes, even after the soles wear down past the lugs (meaning the soles are almost completely treadless).

The softer rubber compound provides more traction than you'd think in an urban environment, and provide plenty of purchase even after you've worn off the treads of the soles.

Whatever--the characteristics that make the soles wear poorly are the same characteristics that make them useful after the tread is gone.


Bought my first pair of this model of Sketcher 5 or more years ago and I have worn them come rain, hail and snow.

They also look a little nicer than a boot, with a “work” appearance.

They have held up better than most work shoes/boots that I have had.

What could be improved is the heel cup is visible on the outside of the shoe.

Your heel should not be flush with the back; a pinky finger width of room is appropriate.

However, my entire foot, not just my heel, feels like it's going to come out of the shoe when I walk quickly.

Nurse shoes can be hideous looking and/or uncomfortable for long shifts.

First off the leather is PU, which simply means it is not real leather.

These are also much more stable than my very old Danskos, which caused me to roll my ankles and/or fall a lot.

I compared and the the heel in the Sanita is about 1/2 inch larger in diameter than my old Danskos, making it more stable.

Sanita flexi-soled clogs are my go to professional clinical shoe.

They are easy to slip on in a rush and look clean, smart and professional.

I would recommended these to medical professionals or anyone who is standing all day.

I'm so glad Amazon is an approved vendor because I felt like if the new style of Sanita didn't fit right I could return them without any issues.

I wear an 8 typically, and  8 1/2 in athletic shoes, and the 39 fit perfectly in this shoe

They are comfortable, especially with an added gel insole and have some discreet height while remaining flat.

They give a little bit when you walk and are very comfortable.

but actually are about 1/2 inch shy of that Dansko height which makes them less stressful to walk in (talk about buckled ankles) and more ergonomical.

It wears a somewhat long in the foot bed and I can tell a slender and flatter foot would fit best.

BUT these run narrow and if you notice the very low cut style> That edge cuts into skin.

No leather lining at all, so this makes for an uncomfortable shoe, in addition to the tight toe area.
