These are imported from China or somewhere over there so the sizes are a little wonky.

however i wish i wouldve known where these were coming from because i probably would have gone with the 12-18 month size since these are about 1/2 size too big on my 19 month old.

The size and hard sole is why i knocked off a star, i had gotten a different pair of walking/sock shoes for my toddler and theyre a lot better than these ones as far as softness and flexibility goes anyways.

To me they are a bit bulky for new walkers, our child stumbled a little bit walking in them as they have been used to flat shoes.

These are also harder of a shoe, the rubber is more like a hard rubber sole much like you'd find on sneakers/tennis shoes/boots so if your baby/toddler is JUST learning to walk i'd stay away from these ones or buy them and keep them aside for when theyre really walking.

but from what I can see so far, these shoes are made from very soft and flexible fabric that wont constrict little feet, and the rubber sole seems stable and to have good grip.
