but I think they'll be OK. They do seem to run smaller and narrower than expected, so I'd say order a size longer and wider than you're used to (I got 10.5EEE rather than my usual 10D.)

Very stable for long walks
These feel really stable.

I no longer fear twisting my ankle and falling, the sole and footbed are super supportive and help keep my feet planted and stable.

I have trouble lately with my legs and feet with pain, and I needed a stable, solid and comfortable sneaker to walk in; these shoe's fit the bill!

but you can add a foot arch insert, they are so comfortable and stable otherwise I don't think they really need it, and I have arches and I am a tall and heavy woman.

These were exactly what I was looking for in a good Walking Shoe.

They are absolutely comfortable inside; I am a size 11 to 12 women's, and the size is as stated, solid rubber soles that shouldn't wear out like some shoe's do, and very comfortable to walk and stand in.

I've been wearing thes shoes for about 4 month as you can  see from the  photos they've  completely worn out .

If I had one complaint it would be that the soles are super soft and wear out quickly.

But for the concerns that I have most soles of today's walking shoes are way too sponge-y and are not helpful for me.

The insoles do easily come out if you need to wear orthotics with them.

and honestly, most modern walking shoes are absolutely hideous, in my view.

but mostly they are just stable and have decent shock absorption without being overly mushy underfoot.

Comfortable walking shoes for those who can't wear (or don't want to wear!)

though they're not amazing looking I do think they're far less cringey than most walking shoes out there.

but these are my daily go-to shoes since I can mostly only wear walking shoes at the moment.

Overall, I'd say Vitesse is a great walking shoe that lasts and is not obnoxious looking.

There was a great sales price here on Amazon so I bought two more in black (lest they stop making the Vitesse model).

Strange fit
I own 8 Ecco sandals and these pair have the strangest fit.

They’re 1/2 inch larger than my other ECCO sandals (I’m usually 5-5.5) Poor ankle support and the straps can’t be adjusted so they’re loose on my ankle and feet. However I decided to keep them because I got them on sale (woo hoo?)
