You probably want to order a size up, as if I had gotten a smaller size I doubt my toes would have fit under the protective resin at the front.

but for a shoe that's specifically designed for an environment with physical hazards, I find the speed of degradation concerning, and I'm not willing to drop $100+ every quarter on shoes that are becoming unwearable without going through a damage event.

but Could be Better Quality
These were ordered to use when I worked in a warehouse.

Had to buy a new pair so I bought the same shoes(thinkin that maybe my cat urinated on them.That’s how bad the odour is) Month later with the new shoes and they smell just as bad again.

I got the 13 wide here and while they fit, they are tighter than I was expecting, especially up by the resin toe, and feel more like a regular 12 on me.

This is  my second pair, first pair bought at local store lasted a year or so which is pretty good since I do 12 hour shifts on concrete/tarmac, up and down steel grates and ladders, exposed to oil, fuel, hydraulic fluid, water, kick stair and stand locks on and off, etc.

Very lightweight which is great on back, 100% composite so I can go through security without setting off the detectors (and thus getting wanded).

The shoes are comfortable, especially because I need a wider toe box with steel toe shoes, and they look very nice.

If you're looking for a comfortable steel toe shoe, with plenty of toe room, I would recommend these.

I can't suggest them due to build quality and how uncomfortable they have been in the last week or two of me wearing them.

but on the inside of the shoe on the side it has a hard piece of plastic type material that rubs up against my feet and if i wear too long it makes that part of my foot sore, if that part could be replaced with something softer it would make a difference with how long i can comfortably wear them while at work

Unfortunately they are small for what I ordered, don't fit well, the lining on the inside had such a gap in it that my foot was basically being pinched as I walked.

but that is a major defct and they cannot be worn now.

During my time writing and wearing I felt I was telling it like it was and that people should probably avoid these due to comfortability issues in the steel toe box mainly.

The good things I did mention in my orginal reveiw was that they look pretty good for being steel toed sneakers and are not as goofy looking as some of the other ones that are out there on store shelves right now.

#2 is that they have a soft, bouncy-ish and comfy sole from the heel to a little past mid foot.

but  the shoe has broken in, really fast I might add, and it now the most comfortable pair of protective toe footwear I own.

The fit is great and the steel toe does exactly as you would expect and they are slip resistant

They fit perfectly and I appreciate the steel toes.

So now that my toes fit and the front of my foot isn't being squashed, the entire shoe feels good.

The toe box is narrow, and I don’t have a wide foot.

The extra wide size runs too tight and narrow.

Too narrow in the front and too loose in the back.

I’m prone to blisters so I’m used to getting them when I wear shoes the first time- these are a different ballgame.

I wore these for three hours in a classroom, so not moving around a lot, and the shoe had cut open my skin by the end of the class🙃 Additionally and ironically, the material is not durable

The heel that didn’t cut my skin had worn a patch of material fully off by the end of my class and you can see the fabric underneath.

but they’re already worn so these were most likely just a waste of $40.

My heels were bloodied by the end of the day.

I do have any issue with the back of the shoes on one foot cutting into the back of my heel.

The back of the heel is so stiff that it doesn’t yield to your heel at all, so the elastic at the back to help with the fit cuts into your skin, and the top edge of the shoe rams into your ankle at every step or foot articulation.

These are way too narrow even in wide especially in the toe box area and for work shoes they stated to wear and tear very quickl (within a month) I would not buy these again

I even ordered a wide and my toes were still cramped and my big toe rubbed against the side.

Comfortable and meets OSHA requirements

Insoles are fairly cushioned to my liking (I love adidas ultraboost), Wide is correct in my size at least, the back of the shoe is soft and doesn't dig into the bend above your heel!

Yes these laces are of THE WORST quality and start to unravel which makes them not only ugly

And once I has the boots on the lace ends were so soft that I had issues getting them through the eyeholes so it took more time.

Then the next issue was that they were just really cheap laces.

but couldn’t get it because of the CHEAP laces.

So I haven’t even got the boots on and I’m already going to need better quality laces as a extra expense too me.

So what I immediately think is if the laces are stupidly cheap then what else on the boot has been corner cut?

but not being able to get them snug…Why the cheap laces?????

It has a bit of a cheap feel, and the lack of an especially supportive toe is not great, especially considering that the brand is solid.

The feeling was described to me as feeling like "the kind of cheap plastic that will crack".

Compared to the other terra boots, he doesn’t quite like these high ankle boots as much

but then of course if it wasn't for the squeaking that they make (insert Spongebob Squarepants reference) Seriously these boots make me look like something I'm not but always wanted to be, Yes a telephone operator!

I immediately had a issue putting the boots on.

The holes really don’t help in getting the boots on well.

As I was tugging on them to tighten the boot on my foot I felt them stretch way, way too much.

However, I still needed more snugness and tightness of the boot on my foot

However, I can’t see what’s  going on inside the boot.

It took me some time to locate again, only to find I could not get the same price or size (on Amazon) so I had to go elsewhere and gladly paid almost Two hunDRED dollars USD for a duplicate.

Eyelets are plastic and started breaking immediately, soles didn’t last nearly as long as all Terra boots I have owned in the past.

The overall stitching quality was excellent and consistent and they are a industrial boot with composite components instead of metal and that lightened things up a bit.

Walking in them was nice and I felt comfortable and cushioned with each step.

These are very well made, they look great and fit well.

The soles are rugged and grip the ground with gusto, and they fit as a eleven should.

They are very light which I love and fit very well.

but I get to do it in boots that  are super comfortable, and  super amazing.

but not tennis) Clown toe section past the thick rubber cracks Stitching came loose after 2years Inner lining not forgiving with rigid insoles The boots fit right where you expect for size and as I have a hard corrective insole I went a 1/2 size up and they fit just right.

However and maybe this is more fault to my insole than to this boot, after a year the inside lining started to wear away and I had to gorilla tape contact points to reduce the wear.

However with weatherproofing comes humidity and funk and these boots do make your feet sweat so I had to switch to white socks (not sure why black makes it worse) and regularly scent bombing the boot.

However, passing the 2+ year mark the damage from regular wear and tear has caught up with this boot in the worse way and outlines its weakest links.

Long story short, the fit of these boots runs very small overall, so I ordered an 11-1/2 2E instead of an 11 2E.

This concerned me so much that I almost shipped these boots back to G & L Clothing.

I work 10 hour days six days per week in these boots, so anything that could cause pain would be magnified by the swelling in my feet as those long days progress.

While walking in these boots, the met guards seem to be rubbing on the leather of the tongue of the boots and it creaks very loudly with every step.

When I went to the Redwing store, the prices sent me into shock. When I mentioned the ultra high price being an issue, the salesman said "But these are Cadillac boots."

Those supposed Cadillac boots offered almost no ankle support BTW.

although 3 stiches wide has begun to pull out where it meets the rubber and that clown boot section of rubber/plastic material (not the toe thick part, the thinner black material) is cracked and full of puncture holes from incidental use and from crouching over time.

but have a large negative when used outside of that perfect window (damage causes total failure).

I had to completely remove the factory insole and replace it with antifatigue insoles and Dr. Scholl's arch support insoles.

But for first 2 years or so no complaints with leaky soles or seams until the issues outlined below.

I work in a very noisy environment, so that isn't much of an issue to me except that it does seem to wake my wife up in the morning when I am walking around getting ready for work.

It is enough to be noticeable and even slightly uncomfortable.

These boots are nice and flexible for a steel toed boot with an internal metatarsal guard.

I’m on my feet all day and these are nice and comfortable to the soles of my feet.

LOVE THESE BOOTS
I have worn these boots for one week at work now and I feel somewhat qualified to leave at least a preliminary bit of feedback.

This provides my very tender feet and more importantly ankles with vastly more support than I am used to receiving from a pair of work boots.

These Keens offer so much foot and ankle support that I am able to work all day on my feet and not suffer nearly as much as I did before.

These made it a little over a year, I'm an electrician which means, up and down ladders, ditch work and lots of walking, decent for the price, inside the heel started to tear and within a month the whole heel folded up in the heel so feet could no long reach the bottom and fit inside the boot

but these were narrow around the heel and side of the foot.

Every pair of shoes and boots I have (AND I HAVE A LOT) are all size 13, none of them fit this tight trying to put them on.

I will have to get some kind of insoles because they don’t have any arch support.

The composite toe is well worth the money.

I have a very high arch so these boots, coupled with a quality pair of inserts make for a comfortable day.

These boots have lasted me a good while so far and as a dishwasher these are the only boots that have actually kept my feet dry!

The greatest investment I ever made was to switch from work boots with laces to these.

Can’t go wrong with Ariat
Full time superintendent and I typically go through a set of boots per project.

I have run the gambit with work boots and this is my third pair of Ariats and I am super pleased.

On a positive note- They are super comfortable to wear all day, walk around for hours and not feel like I was rode hard and put away wet.
