1 shoe has too much material and the heel straps are too loose.

The problem is the strap around the big toe.

Not totally adjustable
Photo one shows that I have the back straps as tight as possible, yet it is too loose and travels up and down the back of the heel.

Photo two shows the foot straps are too long.

The excess strap was puzzling as I have a high arch and high instep.

Also, the straps tighten on my foot throughout the time that I’m wearing them to the point that my toe has diminished circulation so I’m forced to take my sandals off and readjust them in public.

The straps across the feet don’t adjust.

I’d try them again if they changed their construction of the straps.

However, I can't seem to find the same fit now - the 8 regular is too narrow at the heels (it feels like they're boring holes into the sides of each heel within an hour of wearing them) and the 8 wide are way too wide (it feels like I have tennis racquets strapped to my feet).

I finally found a wide-width sandal for every day at a reasonable price.

My last pair of Chaco's were amazing and I used them for everything from hiking and canoeing to wearing them at work.

The only ding I would give is that they don't appear to be that breathable and I don't see them shedding any water for jungle use.

The support is good and the fit is true to size with better heel lock than the C6 RLW.

However it's the perfect combination or sturdy, yet somehiwe flexible, and the in sole freaking amazing.

Highly recommend this product solid and durable for the price I will make another purchase.

but definitely lighter than the S2Vs, and the sole seems more durable than the above listed.

I am really surprised by these boots I'm wearing them daily basis and they are doing great.

Comfortable boot, with a balance of ruggedness and weight.

This is the fifth pair of Rocky boots and I can say that I'm satisfied.

Too short
So after reading review that I should size down I stayed with 9.5 since I wear between 9.5-10.

And wearing SAS sandals just made things worse…..especially after raising the price this year for another $40!

I love the velcro front strap because after fitting them the first time, instead of doing and undoing the back strap constantly, I just pop open the front velcro strap, back my heel in and fasten the velcro strap with one hand.

Very supportive, I am disabled and have a balance problem, these sandals are very good for me

They fit the bill (and my feet) perfectly.

I am lucky if I can find a pair of shoes every year to fit me.

When they arrived I was pleasantly surprised to find they aren't really bad looking and they actually FIT and are super-comfortable!

They adjust in muliple areas with a velcro strap, meaning I can tighten them to the max for my "normal" foot & change the other foot's fit throughout the day based on how it changes.

I've wasted a lot of money on shoes that don't fit lately, I'm super happy that these do.

Sandals just arrived and they are so comfortable!

I have spinal stenosis with constant lower back pain and these sandals seem to help after wearing them for only an hour.

If you have lower back and leg pain I highly recommend these sandals.

They do not seem as warm as the previous version, probably as my feet got a little more space to breeze inside.

Everything else is classic Brooks - locked in heel, great support and road feel.

Good arch support (although I replaced them with Power Step inserts anyway as I need even greater support than normal.

The straps don’t make it narrower around the toes
I wish the designers made the velcro straps work better.

I had to add a little bit of Velcro & glued it to a spot hidden from view.

I snipped off about an inch at the end of the back straps because they were too long and wouldn't stay flat against the side of the shoe.

Also noticed the spaces between the side straps were not the same on both shoes.

The leather ankle strap is also not as comfortable as the elastic strap they used in the past.

I am probably going to cut the strap off and add my own elastic strap,

but they were very wide and there was no way to adjust the places where they were the widest — across the instep and across the area near the toes.

I need narrow and I can’t make it tighter across the toes.

They had great arch support, a flexible sole, an elastic ankle strap, and pleasant colors.

I am having troubles adjusting them to the right size.

but sizing is Off
I bought these for my boyfriend who has a small foot.

These sandals are about a half inch to one size short.

but I received two right foot sandals with one being a size 40 (around a size US 7) and the other a size 41 (US size 8).

From my previous order I know the size 40 would not fit so I tried the size 41 and they were still too short.

So my recommendation is to go up maybe a half or while size.

but a little short
I ordered these sandals on 9/13/20 for a trip to Mexico that started on 9/21/20.

I ordered the tan specifically for that feature and other buyers advised they did receive the extra strap so another reason I will probably go ahead and return these sandals.

They work OK, but my wide feet get chaffed and tired after a while.

but these sandals ran short in my opinion and the design of the toe area get narrow.

Somehow they got lost in shipment and I did not receive them until today 9/29/20.

but might be sending them back because they are a bit too short.

though that I like the adjustable straps especially for the heel and the shoes are supportive and comfortable

I walked around the house and they feel comfortable

I still give the sandals 4 stars because they do feel like they are comfortable if I could size up maybe to an 8.5.
