I gave bunions snd the straps rubbed and irritated my bunion.

With no strap around the back of my ankle, it can be difficult to not slip out of them.

Only thing that bothers me is that when I received them the Velcro on top of foot strap seemed to not be sewed/glued on all the way.

but have only worn them three times because I cannot get comfortable in them no matter how I adjust the straps.

But the side strap attaching the heel strap and the strap that goes over my foot is way too short making the heel strap too low.

Decided to not return just for that as I really wanted to see how they fared when I went tubing.

And these are very long and wide for a size 9.

I’m not sure I ordered the correct size because there is so much sole extending out around my toes.

Comfortable and supportive
Great for trips when you have to do a lot of walking

I have very high insteps and these sandals give very good support.

I have worn them so far on a couple of longish hikes one over rough and hilly terrain, they were comfortable and supportive and have good grip.

They dried quickly, didn't slip in the water and they also stayed perfectly on my feet.

I love the fact that you can wade through water without taking them off and they dry quickly on your feet.

I have been wearing Skechers reggae sandals, which I love for their comfort and ease.

I already wore them to walk today (over 10k) and my feet fared well, pretty comfy.


My third pair of Teva’s, having worn two pairs out over the past 20 years and they’re exactly what  I expected.

but next year I have a perfect pair to wear.

I like the adjustability of the straps in several places where you can fit it to your foot.

Prior to chacos, I had Teva hiking sandals and was disappointed that the soles began disconnecting around the edges after only 1 summer of use.

These definitely have more arch support and padding in the sole.

Like that you can wear in water - the straps dry quick.

The other wonderful feature is that they can get wet, still not rub, don't feel soggy and dry quickly.

This is my 3rd pair of Chacos and I love the purple color.

They were comfortable and wonderful for the hot humid air.

but now that they are right, they fit snugly and are so comfy - all day sandals,  no blisters!

My only gripe is that the shoe does run narrow in my opinion, if you have ever had issues with shoe width or you usually need a wide size - do not buy these in the normal size.

These were a huge disappointment as they are supposed to "wide width" and "true to size"

but unfortunately the width was very narrow and the length ran about a size too small.

So to sum it up , I am across the board a true 8.5 wide- with these shoes: my toes come literally to the end of the shoe with toes a little curled up and the width are not wide as I could barely get my foot in the shoe.

For those with wide feet we are usually left with little to chose from, have to wear shoes that are too small as product or store don't sell wides or we are overcharged for wide sizes.

The ankles have a lot of padding, so they look very wide in the back when on.

The bottoms are harder so it's not a shoe I wear daily

but look elsewhere for arch support and cushion comfort
I bought these New Balance shoes after years of buying the same model of Brooks shoes.

I have high arches and there is no shape to the footbed.


There is absolutely no cushion in the shoes, it feels like walking on cardboard and they run small.

When I first tried to put them on, I immediately knew as I had to make the laces as loose as possible just to get my heel in.

I wish the heels were a little higher so I could be more confident in running.

I have been wearing these for about 2 weeks and I love them.

Super supportive so great for running or jogging,

trail shoes are normally pretty stable and have great support.

Even fully submerged, these stay comfortable and dry so quick.

Bought 1 pair then bought another because I love these sooo much!

Walked around Disney in the rain and I was completely dry and comfortable!

But I know they’re a good shoe, I’ll get a lot of wear out of them (I work as a medical assistant and am on my feet, moving, for most of the day), and they’re comfy.

The outer sole has deep indentions that hold beach sand, so extra care must be taken before wearing them or even carrying them inside Difficult to dry even overnight did not get them completely dry.

I only wore them around the house for a few minutes and my foot was sore.

I cannot imagine wearing them for any length of time or in a water environment.

I like their simple, minimalist design and the way they fit really snug to keep from falling off in the water.

These should work well for wear around the water as they are very light and airy.

These shoes are a must have they have comfort plus all day in and out of the ocean while walking you can feel them drying by next morning they were dry did not shrink they still feel new

Even so, they are a little snug and I am only wearing thin cotton socks for Summer.

The soles are proving to be really hard wearing as I’ve covered a lot of ground in the last 5 months.

They are very supportive through the arches and the soles are really good about not allowing stone bruises when on uneven surfaces.

A quick wash with a sponge and a wipe off with a cloth and they can be worn again as everyday trainers.

The top cover was too hard that it scratches my foot everytime I walk.

I didn’t like them primarily because they are not soft and not easy to walk in.

My one complaint is that at certain angles, the edge of the band digs into my foot as I walk.

Not comfortable like the ad says and not the right size, either.

They are size 7, so a size smaller than I ordered.

Really wish they would make this shoe with laces as it would be five stars!

but when I wore it to walk it was too tight and I couldn't go very far.

The elastic seems overly small as the shoe is difficult to pull on.

Don’t buy
Shoe lace broke within one week and cannot be replaced, making the shoe unwearable.

The laces tie in a bow over the tongue of the shoe; it is not a slip-on with fixed laces as it appears in the picture.
