The wool was too scratchy on it for me to keep the shoes so I returned them.

The only downside is I get a hole in the big toe of them fairly quickly (that said, due to my bunions my big toe sticks up high and laps over my other toes).

The problem- the dark gray rubber sole leaves scuff marks on my hardwood floor.

This is my 4th pair of these house shoes (I’ve also had 2 pair of the soft sole version which are really comfortable too).

The thick wool gives the bottom of my feet (where they always feel bruised) a good cushion and I like the rubber sole so I can go outside.

I wish I could wear them everywhere, lol (that’s how comfortable they are to me).

I also have the Grizzly Haflingers also which are best for out and about town with cork and rubber and are so comfortable as well.

I have extremely high arches, neuropathy, and plantar fasciitis in both of my feet and because of that I cannot be without some support for my feet.

They're warm, supportive, and good for indoor and outdoor use in decent weather thanks to the hard soles.

There was too much cushion, when I was walking in them I had to be extra careful, it was very squishy and I felt unstable when walking in them.

Only drawback is that the heel seems to slide off while walking no matter how tight you tie the leather string.

My podiatrist years ago recommended the cork-soled Haflinger slippers for wearing in the house.

Fit perfectly, comfortable (with and without socks), and very well constructed.

From here on out, these are the only slippers I'll buy.
