Brooks shoes are really well made and great for support.

They're extremely comfortable and supportive.

The shoe support has really made a difference with my overall workouts, knee pain, hip pain, and back pain.

Comfort and lots of cushioning and cheaper than an ER visit
A while ago I ended up in the ER with excruciating leg pain that was thought to be deep-vein thrombosis.

That provides more cushioning than the Brooks Glycerin ..

However, the Brooks shoe is comfortable and does provide support.

I've been buying Brooks Glycerins for years and have always been happy with them.

This is my second pair of Brooks Glycerin because they are very comfortable and cushiony.

If you suffer with plantar fasciitis these are the flip flops for you!

These are very comfortable and provide good art support, well as much as a flip-flop can!

Arch support
Arch support feels good and true to size.

They are so soft to walk on, and I have a lot of leg pain and aches so this helps me.

I’ve worn them all summer with no discomfort.

The drawback was that before the end of my 12 hour shift working as a nurse my heels were killing me it just doesn't offer enough cushion :( I so wanted to say it was the perfect shoe

I think this shoe is making me only walk on my arch and not much on my heel and toes.

Short version: if you have plantar fasciitis or arch issues, buy a pair.

Plenty of room in the toe box with my arch sitting right on the support where it needs to be,

I have become active again and all of the leg pains are gone!

They’re extremely comfortable and help my pf quite a lot.

They’re even more comfortable than my orthopedic inserts.

After a year  of wearing these , they fit like I had just bought them.

I wear a woman’s size 8 and bought a woman’s size 8 .. perfect fit..

I bought a pair in June and they changed my life.

Wished they had half sizes.

They do run a tiny bit small, so if you’re between sizes, go with the bigger one (I’m usually a 7.5 and an 8 fit perfectly).

Sizing is all wrong
I am usually a size 8-8.5 W in certain shoes and neither the 9/10 fit my foot.

Cons: -The ankle part is stiff and narrow enough to hurt if you’re wearing thin socks.

After only a few hours of pacing around the kitchen in these, my feet get so sweaty (not matter what socks I wear).

-Less back pain than regular shoes because of ergonomical support of the soles.

The insert is comfortable for long hours of walking/standing.

So I originally ordered a 5.5 regular and it was way too small, could not even slide my foot in so I returned and ordered a 6 wide.

I would say they run small so order the next size up.

I was constantly purchasing houseshoes with padding or memory foam only to have them go flat after continuous use over a week or two.

So after reading review that I should size down I stayed with 9.5 since I wear between 9.5-10.

And wearing SAS sandals just made things worse…..especially after raising the price this year for another $40!

Great fit for my elderly mom that's mobility challenged

They fit the bill (and my feet) perfectly.

I love the velcro front strap because after fitting them the first time, instead of doing and undoing the back strap constantly, I just pop open the front velcro strap, back my heel in and fasten the velcro strap with one hand.

Comfortable & great for "weird", problem feet
I am lucky if I can find a pair of shoes every year to fit me.

When they arrived I was pleasantly surprised to find they aren't really bad looking and they actually FIT and are super-comfortable!

They adjust in muliple areas with a velcro strap, meaning I can tighten them to the max for my "normal" foot & change the other foot's fit throughout the day based on how it changes.

I've wasted a lot of money on shoes that don't fit lately, I'm super happy that these do.

They are the most  comfortable sandal I have worn ,

I have spinal stenosis with constant lower back pain and these sandals seem to help after wearing them for only an hour.

I bought these in a 6 as reviews say they are suitable for wide feet, & the 5.5's were too tight.

On my normal, none wide foot they weren't exactly roomy either.

but the most annoying feature is the narrow ridging on the soles.

It is impossible to clear loose grass from the soles as it gets trapped in the very narrow ridges, and even running water on it does little to remove it.

I've always loved Merrell shoes & would have continued to try & find a Wide fit if the footbed had been comfy.

Salomon Women's Alphacross 5 Gore-tex Hiking Shoe

I've worn them on and off for about 2 weeks more or less and they just don't give the same comfort as the normal Alpha 5's.

However,  that made them considerably stiffer and quite uncomfortable for me.

I ordered size 7 and they were gigantic, even with a thick sock.

Die "Salomon Alphacross 5 Gore-Tex Damen" kommen gut verpackt und einwandfrei verarbeitet hier an.

The sole gives good support so you won't slip because it latches onto wherever you're stepping with its groves.

I have multiple chronic health conditions and it was the first time I wasn't in excruciating pain in my legs and feet from standing and running around all day.

Size 5.5 fits me very well and it's great these come in half sizes.
