Would recommend buying a half size larger if you plan to wear thick socks.


I ordered my regular size and they were very large in width and length - very sloppy.

but they were too small and they don’t come in half sizes.

So I returned and ordered a size 9 instead.

Am an exact 25 cms (us 8) in size and it’s a half size too big
I wear eu 38 (size 5) in Birkenstock’s and eu 39 (us 8) in other brands and this sizing is weird in the sense only one of my feet fit snuggly.

but the half size bigger bothers me a bit.

There isn’t room for a thick sock even with a slim foot.

I did have to buy taller socks because they were rubbing on my ankles and creating blisters

My right feet lifts a bit when I walk in the shoe even with moderately thick socks.

With such good support in the footbed, I can wear them all day and my feet feel great and I know I’m all set for rain, mud, etc.

The shoes are cute and surprisingly comfortable (for rubber boots).

All round, about as far removed from the misery of wellies as a pair of rubber boots could be.

I own a pair of hunter boots and honestly wish I would have found these first as they are waaaaaay more comfortable.

The bottom feels more like a casual sneaker than a flat rain boot sole which is a relief! !

I am very impressed with these rain boots and expect to wear them constantly next winter.

Also the boots seem to be well insulated - the rainy day I wore them was actually a very warm day and I thought my feet might become hot,

Comfortable for just walking around; no cold or wet feet ever.

They were very pleasant in every respect for the day I wore them, and I expect they will also be comfortable to wear when winter comes round next June.

These fit perfectly straight out of the box and I’ve been wearing them everyday this Fall.

I wear them to work for the day and they can easily be dressed up,

I’ve had them for 3 months and they’re  pretty much all I wear anymore.

Tried it out yesterday and halfway through the walk the rim of the boots started rubbing sharply into my ankle it it hurt!

Had to walk all the way back in them, and today it even hurt to wear them with socks because it's still sore from yesterday.

Definitely did not get my moneys worth cause I’ll probably be throwing them away since I have to literally wash my feet after every time I put them on now, even if I where socks with them.

*UPDATE*: Well, unfortunately I won't be wearing them without socks for warm weather jaunts in the woods with my dog as I had planned.

Size 7 was too tight, and size 8 wouldn’t stay on when I walked.

What if I cut the liner down to size and they still don’t fit?

We’ll despite my efforts of everything from sanitizing spray, baking soda, putting in the washing machine, setting in the sun…they have the worst lingering stinky feet, wet dog like smell!

I found I still had just enough room to insert a comfort insole as well.

Years ago when I moved here I bought a pair of tall rubber boots from Walmart and boy did I get my money's worth, I wear them all winter grabbing firewood in the snow or when I walk in the woods with my dog because they're waterproof - and of course in the rain and wet weather.

Like I said I wear my tall rubber boots from Walmart A LOT and I actually find them to be quite comfortable too,

My tall rubber boots have a larger stiff opening so it's easier to stick my feet in hands-free

They stand up to mud and water better than anything else I've bought, and they are comfortable enough for long walks with the dog or on muddy trails.

They’re lightweight, comfortable and durable for around the yard and near fields.

They are so comfortable, easy to get on and off, and best of all these are stunningly gorgeous.

Not too lose at all, and as I mentioned above, very comfortable.

I am thrilled at how comfortable they are!

I am really happy I splurged on these, they were worth every penny, rugged, comfy and pretty too!

Sloggers makes the best women's rain boots
I've owned several pairs of Sloggers over the years.

My previous Croc rain boots I have had and worn outside doing yard/farm work for more than 5 years  and have drenched with the hose and in the rain and have never retained a smell.

As I said, I go for a lot of walks around my woodsy property with my dog and these are going to be perfect for the wet woodsy ground; high enough to keep my feet dry and they have nice thick rugged soles too.

So I am happy with them - just got them for rainy days in summer - not really winter wellies for snow or whatever.

The soles are well formed and supportive or else my feet would hurt.

that pair lasted me over 1 1/2 years, I've been wearing this one doing the exact same things and a week later I have a hole in the leather at the toe, very disappointed in the thickness of the leather or type on the steel toe part

My only complaint is the side zippers are hard to zip up.

The one concern I had was if the zippers would hold up.

A couple of weeks later the actual zipper started to tare so now the zipper slide is useless.

The boot doesn't work right unless the zipper works.

Now it's too late to return them and I'll be needing to get new boots again.

The high top support keeps me from twisting, and the composite toe is so much lighter and warmer in the winter than traditional steel toes.

The zippers make for quick changes to rubber boots and back.
