I've had cheap rubber boots with thin soles and you can feel every rock & stick.

This one, the sole started tearing on one of the shoes and the Kamik logo came off the shoe also.

My only complaint is that they are more difficult than expected to pull on because the pull strap in the back is made of thin fabric which is difficult to put your finger through without some effort.

These were a gift for my father, I bought them for him to pressure wash in, wash his truck, any task in the mud and elements.

Well he has not taken them off all week, he just keeps saying how supportive and comfortable they feel on his feet, and that is to say over his quality leather work boots.

They look sharp, I did not buy them for everyday work boots for him,

These are the most comfortable boot that I own.

They are good looking boots and instantly felt good on my feet

My first pair of Timberland boots is initially very impressive.

but first impressions are that the boots are well-thought out with lots of good features.

Where Timberland convinced me to to try their product is that this boot is also rated as a hiker, with climbing rubber on the toes, and an athletic last.

So if Timberland can make a comfortable, high-speed hiking and adventure boot, tough enough to stand up to concrete/carpentry/welding work etc, then its a winner.

They're comfy, durable, and worth the extra cost compared to other brands.

As expected, they are comfortable and made with quality.

I'm in the process of breaking them in now, and I'll say they are extremely comfortable.

Very warm, and not lose at all, so they hold on the heat.

When you design aa boot with open metal eyelets,  standard laces are bad.

The edges of the eyelets are what is called, a knife edges, and will cut into a standard lace each time you lace up and tighten it, and quickly cause the lace to break.

They were closed loops and it was rather difficult to lace up the boots.

I got 15 minutes into my shift this morning in these boots and completely wiped out on a wet floor.

but the fact that these boots are being marketed as slip resistant when they are the slipperiest shoes I have ever worn is a serious hazard to people's safety.

Be sure to have waterproofing spray if that's what you need and don't expect them to be bullet proof.

but are not fully waterproof like stated they are I have purchased 5 pair of them over the past few years and all 5 once broken in after a couple weeks they all have leaked up around the stitching on front of boot

The only thing is they are slightly insulated and I find it makes my feet more prone to sweating which can be chilly on winter days,
