An update to my previous review: I returned the size 7.5 and ordered and got the larger 8.0 size and this fits much better.

If you are just getting started into cycling shoes, I would recommend you consider the Outdoor Master offerings.

I have been using these biking shoes for a couple of weeks and I am very satisfied with these shoes.

Overall, if you are looking for excellent biking shoes at a very reasonable price this might be this might be the solution.

Only problem is that the inner bottom fabric liner of the foot started peeling back under the toe after a few uses.

Based on the design, I would suggest you avoid wearing these outside of the house, because the design leaves the fabric vulnerable, around the edge, to dirt and rough ground textures.

However, these do have a hard sole, it is just sirrounded by fabric that goes all the way to the ground, hiding the hard sole.

The first consideration I can offer you pertaining to this product is: the surface you step on inside the shoe is a little slick, causing me to have to get used to walking in them so my heal doesn't slide from side to side.

I had to return a pair because the sizes run small, so I had to order a size up.

Sole comfort is a little thinner than I need and I would not send them back because they are Keens.

These sandals have many of the common flaws engineered into modern footwear (or purposefully left alone) by companies who want to force customers into repeat purchases; the traction pads on the bottom sole surfaces are aligned in a way that promotes cracking / splitting along the ball of the foot (where the sandal bends the most during walking), the foam footbed is super cheap to the point of one’s toenails being able to dig into and rip it rather quickly, and the material going up the sides of the straps is cheap and low density.

They were classified as very good condition with scratches on sides and bottom, not in original box for $ 35 (half the cheapest price I had found).

I checked them closely for scratched and could find none, looked perfect to me and like other Keen sandals seem sturdy, comfortable and well made.

Have had less then a month and they already are busted on side and have holes in them these boots were over 200$ 1star at best . .

I would recommend purchasing some other insoles as well, as the ones that come in the boots are not very durable or comfortable.
