My only problem was that the inserts shifted a bit while I was wearing them and could become uncomfortable and/or stop taking up enough space in the toe of the shoe to keep making them fit if they were not situated correctly.

Once you push the foot further back into a shoe, the arch of the foot no longer sits in the arch of the shoe, which just makes the entire experience uncomfortable for the toes, the arches, and for walking.

Some people have commented that they're uncomfortable.

If your nails are a tad long, these will definitely cause some discomfort

If anything, I recommend you make sure your nails are trimmed before you walk around with these sponges in your shoes.

this is no substitute for buying shoes that fit, but in this case, where i had a pair of shoes that i both really liked aesthetically and couldn’t return, they were extremely helpful.

They're sturdy so they hold their shape well (unlike the tissue I'd been using) and they're easy to remove so you can put them into whatever close-toed shoes you want.

I pulled on the top section to stretch it, and was surprised that the section pulled away along the groove.

however, you must stretch it back out to the size and it will be a little bit more snug.

I wear size 8-regular width, ordered size 7 and I think they are still too large.

but they only have the black in size 6 now.

They came yesterday and this size 6 is too small.

The only downside I would say to this product is that if you wash them, do not wash them in the dishwasher as the heat from the dishwasher will cause the product to shrink 1 to 2 shoe sizes.
