With the usual design, my feet will tend to slide a bit, especially vertical, no matter how tight the straps are.

Great Teva sandals I wear size 12 and ordered 11's, they fit great.

Most Comfortable Teva Sandal of All Time I've been wearing Teva sandals for decades and some are great and some just so-so.

They are less adjustable and lighter, so they feel more like a standard Teva sandal.

I do hope these are successful enough Teva considers making a "Trail" variant with a more rugged Vibram sole.

Sometimes the Velcro ties are scratchy on the foot.

but BETTER because the strap structure is more adjustable and the sizing (which is notoriously off for Teva Tirras) is bang on for these Viakix sandals--and they are cheaper too.

They are also more elegant than the Teva Tirras, in that the foot looks slimmer so the sandal has a slightly more dressy look for a walking sandal.

I have had them for 5 months and they haven't shown any signs of wear and are still comfortable.

They were right the size 9 fits me beautifully and I can adjust it through the best most comfortable sandals I've ever had and plan to be getting more in the future, and they are cute on.

For wide feet, size up I asked a question about sizing up for wide feet.

To the point, I appear to be a bridge case. I did size up, from my normal 9 1/2 wide to a 10 regular (the only width this shoe is offered.)

but I wanted to wear them bear footed and they had no cushion to protect my feet against the hard plastic piece near my toes which was rubbing against my foot, so I’m sure it would had been an issue when walking long distances.

I have had Nike, Teva, Crocs in the past and these are on par with those at half the price.

I have high arches, and have found appropriate running shoes with good arch support.

Though the sole seems a bit stiff at first, I think it's the perfect amount of protection for practically any situation you could be in without adding any bulk whatsoever and are quite lightweight.

but I love Teva and Birkenstocks, so this was a further step in that direction.

They have almost the same minimal arch support of Teva sandals, which is what gave me plantar fasciitis so many years ago.

They were extremely comfortable from the first time I wore them, and I am able to dance, walk and hike in them.

The grey version is a very low key looking boot.
