I also love that they don’t have those little elastic ties on the front, that is such a pain to have to stop and re-tie shoes constantly because they’d always come undone.

Due to the sizing problem, she can't wear them, so I can't speak to their durability or comfort.

Although these looked wide and allowed high arches, these were still not wide enough for him.

though I can’t speak to their durability yet I can “see” they are not very sturdy , structure wise.

They fit true to size also, he wears a 3.5/4 and the 4 fits him well and he’s worn them with and without socks.

Just lots of room to grow into them, so I’d say they are pretty true to size.

These shoes had no noticeable flaws and would probably fit average or even slightly wide feet.

He can be quite picky too with sensory issues and he hasn’t complained that they feel weird or aren’t comfortable.

They're lightweight and super comfortable with lots of support.

Once on though, the Velcro closure is really easy to use.

The Rangers are solid and if splashing water was not a factor, I might stick with them.

Over the past 6 weeks or so (worn 5-6 days/week for at least an hour a day at work) they have loosened enough to be easier to put on.

Those feel more substantial, are a bit easier for me to put on, and they rise a little higher around my ankle which helps keep my socks and shoes dry.

True to Size
My little outgrew her last years boots like this.

I really like that the bow stays tied and there is a bit of elastic at the back for her to slip on the boots.

but I wouldn't have paid a lot for a 5 yr old's shoes but they fit her great with room to go and look adorable.

The straps don't feel the best and your foot tends to slide in the show making it uncomfortable to grip.

I never know if my feet are going to slide or if the bands are going to cut you in a part of your foot that's uncomfortable.

They needed to add a little piece of elastic to give them some stretch, and shorten them up.

Because of the loose straps the shoes wear more like flip-flops, where I am actively working with my toes to keep them on.

After just three months of wearing them at my 40 hr warehouse job, both the left and right shoe have split where the sole meets the upper material.

Yellow on the soles is a lot more subtle then in the pictures.

My husband is required to wear steel toe shoes for work and he found this shoe to be true to size and comfortable for his 12hr shifts

Add a pair of elastic lock laces (no tie shoe strings) made the shoes fit even better.

My Little "Hooves" OTBT Shoes: A Little Too Stiff and not Stable Enough a Heel
I ordered a size 6.5 in black.

I thought maybe it was because of the leather breaking in and I was right because by mid-day, I had to adjust them every 30 minutes or so in the back so that they would not rub on the back of my heel because they have loosened.

A more stable (wider) heel would have done wonders for this shoe.

Here's the thing:  the 7 is ok, my foot doesn't budge a millimeter while walking around because there's that length of elastic under the inner ankle wrangling your heel in from going anywhere.

As for the quality I'm wondering if I'm going to encounter the sole of the heel detaching like other reviewers had; examining the quality in that area I guess I could imagine that happening,

But if you have narrow feet, they may be a bit wide.

This is basically the exact same narrow trouble area the boots have.

Keep in mind that if you have small feet like me, these shoes will sort of visually "compress" your feet making them look even smaller.

I have a small bunion on one foot & the top of the shoe goes right under it & hurts so have to return.

The OTBT boots definitely have a tendency to run small, and I do a 7.5 in those so socks/tights have a chance of fitting.

Another thing to note is that if you have a tendency to roll your ankles like I do, then these shoes may not be stable enough for you.

At the end of the day, I went to another store to try on some other shoes thinking I would need them because these were hurting.

My heel has a good amount of space before it gets near to bulging over the edge, because that elastic strap is pulling your heel forward so firmly.

Grrrrr…these are adorable & the other foot feels great.

They are really cute (not dowdy) & have a comfy/soft insole.

The green color is exactly as pictured and very cute, I'm already planning out which of my Athleta knit dresses I can pair it with.

I could tell immediately that they would have been easy to wear right out of the box.

Perfect height to wear w/skirts or jeans.

I normally wear 7.5-8M - 38EU & these fit perfectly.
