They lasted 3 weeks and the rubber soles began to split and the steel shank on the heel tore up the back of my ankle.

Only cons are the weight (given with the quality level) and a little bit of heel slip for me.

Great Boots
True to size and really well made these are the only boots ill wear , 12 hr days on concrete and steel catwalks, in and out of chemicals and water .

Got a size 14 and it's a true 14, just enough breathing room.

Work ready little to no break in required.

Toe Box is a tight squeeze - Needs a good stretch
I needed a new pair of Ranch boots and purchased these in my shoe size (8.)

Also if the toe box had a couple centimeters added to the toe box height it may have worked.

With a tight fit in the toe box, some extra room in the heel and a roomy shaft, these boots just didn't work for me.

It was a tight squeeze and didn't have much of any wiggle room and I was barefoot.

but from my arch to my toes, it felt like I was getting the life squeezed out of them.

I could literally feel my metatarsals being squeezed together.


I’m exchanging mine because the toe is a lot wider than it looked to me in the pics.

While the boot was only a bit narrow for my taste, it was not tall enough.

Anyhow, I have wide feet and this boot didn't work out.

The heel cup is to short so it rubs, and the top arch stitching digs in.

but will stretch out and otherwise fit true to size.

Fit just as expected
Had a pair of boot similar to these before and love how they fit.

My calves fit great, my heel was just fine,

Detailed notes would also be that I purchased the size 7.5, and since they don’t currently have the size 8 in stock in this color, I’ll be purchasing the size 8.5 to see if that’d be a better fit for me because I really do love the look of these boots!


Rubber sole and water proof leather makes these ideal for winter. Comfortable!

They slid on like a glove and are super comfortable.

Besides being snug in the front, there was plenty of room (maybe too much) on the heel part and the shaft was quite roomy.

On a positive note, I loved that I could confortably wear my jeans inside of them to show off the cute design and subtle pop of color.

I think that old gringo boots are a little over priced.

these boots fit true to size and no break in time required the boot shaft is 10 in.

We were sorry we  did not buy them - so I was very excited to find them on Amazon - They arrived in just days (thanks to free amazon prime shipping :)) and fit like a glove.
