BUT the eyelets that run around the lace on the sides is the shoes came loose early on and cut my leg whenever I try to scratch the back of my leg with my other foot.

Fit is big I usually am a 10.5/11 the 10.5 was a size to big.

I wear a 10.5 this boot seemed more like a 10 also very very stiff and could not imagine even if it were a properly sized 10.5 that it would be comfortable.

but top right eye-hook broke first time worn.

but if you have wide feet like mine which I normally wear a size 10D or 10 EE in most boots or 101/2D or 101/2 EE these in 101/2 EE were still a little tight but with the help from some mink oil I was able to get a little stretch in them I still might check to see if they are made even wider in short they're cut a little narrow

1st pair were too big so we sent back & re-ordered a smaller pair that was sent to the wrong address!! !

but they are too tight,  possibly due to less stretch and give,  fabric versus leather.

The problem with the boots is that when you get them broke-in the soles are already starting to wear out.
