The brown ones were the complete opposite of my expectations; brown ones were squeaky with every step, felt like you were stepping on an air bubble each time, slippery bottoms that slid with the smallest amount of stepping on liquid; also the quality was horrendous, the outside lining peeled off.

Plus, I discovered that some brands state half sizes which upon arrival, is not the case.

I've bought them from other online retailers and they were too small.

Shoes poorly packed in a too large box and not wrapped in tissue paper like department would have them.

In regards to shoes, they seem to run very small, i.e.

The heels on these shoes slip and it looks like there is at least a 1/4 inch gap between my foot and the heel of the shoe and therefore my heel falls out of the shoe.

Also the back heel rides a little too high and cuts across the Achilles.

Also, the sole of the shoe is not very flexible.

but its sizing is not terribly consistent. I "normally" wear a Clarks size 10-10.5 (U.S.) in an Oxford, but in most brands of athletic shoes, I wear an 11. i ordered this model in an 11 and they fit "okay."

I got the taupe color and it's darker than the Amazon photos, and it's more apparent that the strip along the bottom edge is a darker shade (as is shown in the other colors).

Run a bit small compared to other Clarks shoes and sneakers I own
Didn't know quite how to rate these sneakers; I had to return them because I have a high instep and the cut of the sneaker wouldn't allow me to put my foot into the sneaker.

The shoe width is as expected through the toe box and body, and the heel is also a normal fit.

but relaxed almost immediately, making them very comfortable indeed.

With a pair of thin fitting socks, I found my shoes to be snug.
