Go Up A Half A Size
I wear a true size 8 and these were tight on my feet.

but after wearing them for a day around the house cleaning and organizing, my feet were pretty tired compared to other shoes that I typically wear.

Depending on how you plan to wear them, these may or may not be a good option.

but this is a whole size for me, I can't wear these.

but I'd say go up a whole size, unless you've worn French Connection sneakers before and you know what fits you.

although this would not be a shoe to take a long walk or run in.

Also, when I started to walk around in them, my right foot felt like there was something underneath the shoe I was walking on.

but even though they are listed as walking shoes, I don’t know that these would be comfortable for any true athletic activity.

but if you’re looking for a true athletic shoe because you plan to walk, run, or be on your feet constantly, there are much better options out there.

My toe was pressed firmly to the very top of the toe area of the shoe with zero wiggle room so you definitely want to go up a half size.

Unfortunately, this product does not allow for an exchange on sizes, or I would do so.

I am just grateful that they either made an honest mistake, or knew the product was being reviewed it as too small, and sent me an 8 and 1/2.

However they are small in all ways, length and width.

The color is gorgeous, and they would probably be really comfortable if they were large enough.

but I bought a size 8 1/2 and still had to shimmy the shoe up, string by string, and my foot is not very wide.

however, the straps are a little loose for my slender foot and being so high, my toes/foot kind of juts.

As is the straps were too loose and my foot slid further forward than I prefer.

I hope to remedy by placing some Dr. Scholl's 'ball of foot' pads to snug them up; I may have been able to get away with a size 8 instead of a size 8.5 because I measure exactly 9.5" and that is the length of a size 8 shoe,
