but the pair of trainers I was sent were not wide fitting.

I don't know whether this is because Vionic's definition of wide does not fit my feet, or because I wasn't sent the wide fitting trainers.

I could not get my foot in them (even when loosening the laces) without hurting my foot.

I have several pairs of Vionic shoes & sandals, & they keep my feet pain-free,

Vionic shoes have high arch insoles which help in walking

They were so comfortable; plenty of arch support & cushioning in the heel & forefoot.

I wore the 8’s around the house, & they were very comfortable.

They are so comfortable and feel great on the feet.

I have problem feet, and these feel like walking on a cloud.

but have plenty of support for long walks on uneven surfaces.
