but I see after some time of using it it’s strap started losing and that is the reason we need to change this frequently otherwise fitting won’t be proper and your geet won’t be comfortable with loose straps.

but two things: 1) why are the straps so baggy !

there is at least a cm between my foot and the strap so the whole shoe slops around ridiculously 2) they are much harder than i was expecting, at the moment they are akin to walking on a plank of wood, i would be interested to hear if they soften over time.

The strap, while not uncomfortable, is the most stiff of all the straps—clearly made with not as premium materials.

My only complaint is that the straps on the Tide are quite loose, and the sandals can easily slide off my feet (I almost tripped once).

In a matter of days I’m sore and in a few weeks walking becomes a bit of an issue.

Walking in them, my feet felt like they were fighting the movements and shapes of the Neat Zoris with every step.

And the footbed is not as soft as the other sandals.

even though they aren't that much heavier than some of the others, the outsole is thick and not really flexible, lending a feeling of greater weight.

However, I have noticed that the wear and tear on these sandals is a bit quicker compared to some other brands I've owned.

I am absolutely thrilled with my Vionic men's sandals!

The Vionic Tide featured a nice leather strap, with a soft comfortable liner.

ARCH SUPPORT 1) Vionic Tide 2) New Balance PureAlign 3) Neat Zori 4) Spenco Yumi The arch support is really the key feature in orthopedic sandals like these, and there was surprising variation.

The Vionic Tides had tremendous arch support, with very little give.

COMFORT AND OVERALL RANKING 1) Vionic Tide 2) New Balance PureAlign 3) Spenco Yumi 4) Neat Zori The Vionic Tide is the most expensive sandal here, and for me, it ends up taking the crown.

I've recently moved into a new apartment with hardwood floors, and as a runner with his fair share of foot issues (historically plantar fasciitis, and lately some Achilles tendinitis) hardwood floors just don't mix with my problematic feet.

The surprise contender was the New Balance PureAlign which also offered impressive arch support,

The Neat Zoris offered reasonable arch support,

In addition, the arch support is rather flexible, and gives way under foot rolling.

though it shows from the build quality, the New Balances have them where it counts: great arch support.

Those looking for a recovery sandal with great arch support on a budget will love the New Balances.

Moreover, the arch had a bit of flex/give to it that was noticeable with every step.

My (predominant) foot measures a smidge under 4” for the width and these sandals are almost not wide enough.

With that said, I caution anyone that always needs a WIDE width, to refrain from this style, as it’s not very giving in the width, and unless you’re okay with your foot hanging over the edges, you may not be happy with this selection.

Always love a pair of Vionic sandals!

I love Vionic shoes, and these are a welcome addition to my small collection!

Other than that, the flip-flop has the usual Vionic quality and arch support.

Being a fan of Vionic already, I had expectations for these sandals and I feel those expectations were met.

However, my last pair, the strap was loose in just a week and lifted off at the toe joint.

Suggest the manufacturer make a firmer arch so that it doesn’t collapse and the strap to be of better quality so it doesn’t stretch.

My suspicion is they will loosen even more over time.

but the straps were also too loose and I imagined that as time went on, they'd stretch more and make it difficult to just keep the slippers on my feet.

ordered in size I normally get so they have plenty of room and these were smaller than any other normal size 8 I have now.

I returned the 8's and ordered down to a size 7.

That being said, the footbeds on these are quite literally the best I have Ever owned (move over Vionic).


I’ve started using Vionic summer sandals a while ago, 10+ years,  and they are perfect

Flip-flops are much lighter comparing to vionic.

I remember the last time I wore sandles this comfortable was from my sister Kathy that gave to me.

The arch support is perfect and thy even looks good with my bunions .

The curves, cupping, angles and arch are amazing.

For reference, I do like a more pronounced arch than some shoes provide and these fit the bill.

I've been bothered by planter fasciitis for the past several months.

2 points I’d like to make (ok, maybe 3) - #1 - I have had continuous history with plantar fasciitis for years now.

#2 - These also have this just-soft-enough cushion that is oh so perfect.

Wow, I like them better, softer and more cushioning in the footbed.

I wear a 9 1/2 and the fit to size and the others I've purchased over the years have as well.
