They do have some nice cushion inside and the sole is rubber so you shouldn't slip.

These ones feel much better constructed, have foam pads at the heal and nice rubber sole.

With absolutely NO BREAK-IN PERIOD needed and for a cold footed person they KEPT MY FEET VERY WARM, with the proper socks.

but these are not water proof I'm not sure I would even say resistant as I just walked in my yard in the morning and came in with soaked feet

but just walking out in the yard to take out the dog they absorbed a lot of water just from the nightly dew on the grass.

Also wear them out on the patio To the makers of this product: Fix it.

It is very uncomfortable to wear these slippers without some socks or booties on.

In turn, my feet get too hot and you might as well just wear booties.

And if you like to wear your slippers bare footed like me, this is a bad one because it gets REALLY hot in there really fast and makes your feet sweat.

but the sole is a little thin and don't have any padding.

They are very thin more like thick socks with the no slip treads on the bottom.

but they won't replace a slipper with a shoe sole.

but it seems like it would be better than the really cheap flip-flops I bring for travel to wear in the hotel room since they would at least take up less space in luggage Worse than socks: - They don't fit as snugly as socks, so even though wearing them with the back under the heel is an option, when I wear them like this, it's loose enough, that it sometimes feels like it's slipping off my feet when I'm walking around - The inner sole is not breathable, so it makes my feet sweat pretty soon after I start wearing them even when it's cold.

More Like Socks
These felt more like socks or foot coverings of some sort rather than slippers.

Something about the way it's made forces my foot to live all the way at the very front of the slipper.

I cannot - CANNOT - force the slipper to stay better aligned on my foot.

As snug as that makes the slippers across my toes, I have doubts about my hope of layering extra-thick socks inside.

I didn't not like them and didn't wear them more than a few hours to try them out.

The material is similar to neoprene and my feet tend to get a little hot and sweaty when wearing them for any length of time.

but I wouldn't wear them to go anywhere or walk off concrete, just too thin.

2.5/5 stars At $15 at time of order, I don't think these are really worth it.

I hoped they'd be slightly loose on me so I'd be able to layer extra-thick socks inside on bitterly cold days, without making them too tight.

The sole is thin and flexible, comfortable to walk in.

Better than socks: - The rubber sole makes it easier/safer to walk on smooth surfaces or surfaces that can get really cold during the winter; also, I hate the feeling of even partially damp socks when I walk on a wet spot on the floor, so this helps avoid that - Two options for wearing, with either the back wrapped around the heel or under the heel - I haven't used it yet for this,
