Bought these the other day, put them in a bucket of water for a few hours and then wore them wet to break them in both yesterday and today.

Finally they don't contribute to the overheating in the hot weather.

This is nice because that stitching will let water in eventually - not an issue with these.

I bought Timberland because of past good experience with their boat shoes and because they have a flat sole.

The flat soles enable me to scrape off any grassburs quickly before going into the house, and being fully enclosed leather gives me a second or two to stomp the fire ants off the shoes when they are doing their best to sting me.

Excellent casual men's footwear
I have been wearing Timberland Men's Classic 2-Eye Boat Shoes for years.

These boat shoes solve the majority of the problem.

It seems outside of the US, the Dom Republic tends to make the best boat shoes.

I felt like I had heel spurs after wearing this for an 8 hour shift.

My other Rocky 10.5W boots fit great, I could barely get this on and it was the most painful shoe I had ever wore, even if just for a couple of steps.

First pair are insulated and I have worn them every winter for 5 years and they are still holding up good.

These Rocky Legacy 32s are waterproof (not insulated) and with a medium weight sock my feet were still toasty warm.

Good grip going up muddy hills and over logs.

I also like the flat sole and tread design.

Really happy with these Legacy 32 boots they fit good and were comfortable right out of the box.

Wore them hiking three times so far and they kept my feet warm and dry.

My feet are wide and these feel slightly thinner than your typical boot.

This is not for a person with a wide foot.

With the zipper down and the laces loose I could barely get my foot in without socks.

I usually wear a size 10.5 or 11, so I ordered these in a size 11 in case I need to wear them with thick socks.

Even when wearing these with thinner socks, the size 11 is very tight on my feet.

Toe protection is nice and the side zipper is awesome so you don’t have to tie or untie them every time.

Speaking of protection, the toe area is reinforced along with other areas.

They represent a good value for decent protection when riding on two wheels.

The styling is pretty nice and the sole flex is good.

These boots were uncomfortable at first

Sucks riding with, to slippery, especially on gravel.

They'll easily accommodate thicker cold weather socks.

They provide good ankle protection, are very good regarding non-slip when wet and very comfortable.

I’ve found that since the  bottoms are flat there is more surface area touching the ground and I’m not dealing with the back of the boot being higher than the front.

I have a difficult time finding shoe/boots that fit well as I have EEE feet.

although I do like that the heel catches the pegs when shifting around I am preferring these new boots for walking around in and when coming to a complete stop.

That’s what really sold me on the boots.

Better Than Expected
I use my boots for work as a construction manager and for hiking with my dogs in wet grass, mud and the woods, so they get wet, then dry out and abused often.


I live in Manitoba and the weather is very cold in winter (-23 to -30 is not uncommon)  I wear these boots with one pair of socks and my feet keep warm and dry.

I added Spenco green flat foam liners, anlso available from Amazon and they’re perfect!

I happened to luck out and get the price on the color combo I wanted and it’s an unbeatable price for a fantastic boot.

I’m a senior and these are one of the best pair of boots I’ve ever owned.
