Other impressions: The boot is stiff as you might expect from a winter boot- A little too still for my purposes.

The tag says the soles will damage floors.

Compared to other boots, there isn't the same soft and warm feel immediately when you slip them on.

I ordered the Artic GV's in the same size (10.5) and they felt easily 1/2 size larger.

I’ve worn them for a couple hikes in dry conditions and they’re pretty nice boots.

With thicker SmartWool socks my feet have stayed warm and dry all day hiking in deep snow.

There is actually still room for big socks and I even put in my cushy insoles.

I buy shoes in size 10 and they almost always fit just fine.

So I reordered 9.5s and they fit pretty good.

Excellent for winter hiking
Ordered same size I wear for other shoes and fit is excellent.

My Fugitive GTX are a 10.5 and fit like a glove.

but if you're looking for something that's a step up from the standard winter hikers, it may fit the bill.

I like them a lot and if they keep my feet cozy and keep me from slipping around on ice, they’ll be the perfect boot.

Good boots
I have been wearing Asolo's for over 10 years.

Their boots are well made and last a long time.

Overall boot size: much beefier than the GTX.

It has the Vibram winter grip, which I think it a huge plus for an all-around boot.
