Thought I would get 38 when ordering 8-8.5 (but got an unwanted 39; even seems a bit big for the stated 8-8.5).

It would REALLY help if the EURO sizes were choices when ordering (NOT some supposed US equivalent).

I have been a big fan of birkenstocks for atleast 15 years now.

I wore them the day before a little bit when setting up hoping to break them in some since they felt very uncomfortable and after an hr of wear I had to kick them off cause feet were hurting bad.

Couldn't believe I paid 50 bugs for this lightweight plastic shoe.

It is a plastic shoe and being washable, I'll take the rubbed off print over a leather surface any day.

but only maybe 3 hrs tops, and it hurt so bad to walk on my feet that evening and for quite a few days after because they made my feet split open all over with what felt like paper cuts basically.

Everytime I'd walk itd sting or hurt and there was just nothing remotely close to soft or comfortable about these at all.

When I first opened the box my heart dropped and I thought: oh, you've been ripped off.

Not to mention the shoe box they came in was tore up and falling apart like it was smashed

and can get wet, are washable, and come in great colors!

I got 3 more pairs!!! They are super-comfortable and they are the real Birkenstock deal (footbed is their great shape and very comfortable for human feet!)

So glad Birkenstock decided to add these to their line of leather shoes.

Giving high stars still as I believe they're a good & useful product based on having a different style of Birkenstock Evas.

They are vegan (no leather) and make me happy to wear.

I highly recommend using the Birkenstock sizing chart.

They fit as expected, I wear a size 5 in women's, and the 2.5 in children's are exactly at the edge of my heel.

So I ordered them and they fit her like a glove.

Try A Different Insole
If they feel a bit short or tight, try taking out the insoles and inserting your own.

The factory insole is totally flat and bumps right up to the end of the footbed, creating bulk.

Combined with the sole and my orthotics, it's all very hard and requires wearing my fluffiest socks to avoid foot and toe pain.

BUT, THE ZIPPER GETS CAUGHT IN THE INNER FABRIC WHICH IS A PROBLEM.

but can be tricky to push in while zipping, otherwise it gets stuck in the zipper.

My only issue is that they don't keep snow out of the top because they're just a bit too short and the shaft doesn't fit tightly enough to keep mid-calf snow drifts from packing into the boots.

Cute boots, at a good price and waterproof too, are worth the effort.

They are truly waterproof, and just the right height for going about your day in wet weather.

The double layer of removable insoles means I can put my Birkenstock insoles in no problem, so now they have great support, and I can still wiggle my toes!

For $8-10, these are very good inexpensive sandals for people with flat feet- plantar fasciitis, to wear around the house (inside and out), and out for short distances on rainy days.

These are comfy, waterproof sandals which will last longer than you initially expect, with some care and common sense.

They are super cute and are a fraction of the price of the Birkenstock version.

If there is going to be such a big disparity between sizes, Teva should really consider offering half sizes in this model because this model's sizing is not consistent with the sizing of other Teva sandals and shoes.

Recommend Trying A Few Sizes To Find Desired Fit
This sandal is great and it feels and looks better quality and more durable than the Birkenstock foam sandals for kids (we had a pair of those and found them thin/floppy in comparison).

Loved that the velcro was easier than other models, especially for toddlers.

I was so impressed I bought each kid and myself a pair for this summer.

but the initial try on was a success with my two kids who are particular about how shoes feel on their feet.

My child really liked the look, feel, and color of these sandals and wanted to keep them.

You don't have to wait for straps to dry to wear it.

The greatest thing about these sandals is how easy they are to strap on!

My daughter has been wearing them for the sandals second summer, and they are still in great shape.

I have high insteps and low arches, so this style pull on  boot is iffy for fit.

I have very high arches so it took me an hour to get the inserts through the opening,

I LOVE these boots - they are durable, truly waterproof, I feel safe on slippery terrain, can wear as every day shoe.

I wear a birkenstock blue 3/4 orthotic in them and it's absolutely perfect.

I will say they run small.
