Upon wearing them for a short time they started to hurt my ankles (the design will brush against your ankles as you walk) therefore, as you walk it continues to rub against your ankle causing possible cuts had I worn them any longer.

If you are not used to walking in 5" heels, you will probably have some difficulty walking in these.

These are more difficult to walk in compared to other 5" heels that I own.

I will say that these are not comfortable to wear if you plan to do a lot of walking.

I wore them 3 times hiking and after being pregnant and then also carrying a toddler, I said these will absolutely not work.

If you're looking for super cute boots, these will not fit the bill.

I also purchased them to run the front of house in a restaurant at the time due to them being slip resistant.

but the bottoms are solidly water resistant.

They are light weight, waterproof, great for hiking, easy to get on and off (not too stiff), and they are incredibly warm.

If you're looking for something recognizably feminine and fully functional, then these are a good choice.

I love these boots so much.

These boots were my favorite through the winter months with rain, snow & ice!

A comfortable boot for the price
These boots are very comfortable for the price.

The soles are still in solid shape after climbing over branches and rocks and having my 70+lb dogs run over me or step on my boots.

My feet like to spread out and these boots allow that without losing shape or stretching out.

Also I attached pics of the boots with 1 solid month of daily wear (November) and then two months of occasional wear (every 2-3 days) and you can see they have held up well and the sole is in great shape.

If you’re thinking about buying them, DO IT!

Well I finally purchased them and seriously, there are 0 regrets on the purchase.

I don't have a worry about it at all and may be purchasing another color as I'm seeing they are 25% off right now.

I had to stand outside in 20 degree temps and high wind for over 2 hours due to a natural gas emergency and my feet were toasty warm with just plain old ankle socks on.

I have also been hiking several miles in these through woods in the Finger Lakes National Forest while carrying my 2 year old on my back and I had 0 calluses, 0 discomfort and I didn't feel like I was trudging along at all.

I do not have large calves: could not wear with socks or with jeans tucked in with size 8 (upsized from my usual size 7:5).

BUT I ordered I half size up and they are too narrow.

You must buy as the other buyers advised, one size up or else they will not fit!

If you are a size 9 and short of stature, these boots will be too long and go above your knee!

but these r really narrow and my feet were killing me after a couple hours at work (and I sit).

If u have sensitive feet to height or width being too narrow, wouldn’t get them.

I purchased these boots for an upcoming trip to Iceland.

They are completely waterproof, are high enough to cover ankles and calves, and they are warm.

Just walk cautiously and have nice insulated socks.

I wear these 8 to 12 hours a day they lasted approximately 6 to 8 weeks before they began to fall apart the sole began to come apart and the trim Along the top began to come apart

Though those work, I found a simpler solution was to completely replace the shoe's insole.

Excellent boots for trekking, or walk into different surfaces.

I used them in heavy rainy days and really worked fine.

They have the iconic timberland's look and feel comfortable.

I did end up purchasing the Hunter mid calf rain boot with adjustable back and those worked great!

Wonderful boots
These boots arrived right on time.

but the top of boot is large enough so my calf and pants can get tucked into the boot.

I am also very glad that I bought this particular boot, the Huntress because I am 5'5" and a taller boot would have gone above my knee.

This boot falls about 2 1/2 inches below my knee (boot height ~13 1/2 inches) which is perfect.

Great boots, that hopefully don't stay on the shelf because I love them!


I love Hunter boots as they feel so well made and go on forever,

but have enormous calves from years of training and have NEVER been able to have long wellies, my normal boots all come from a specialist shop that custom make to size, so imagine my absolute excitement at finding these slide over my calves perfectly.

The huntress fit pefectly over my calves with enough room for a pair of long sock or skinny jeans.


So very happy to have a pair of long wellies that fit me, I am a size 3
