Sperry Women's Saltwater Winter Lux Boots

width foot

The zipper doesn't go all the way, because of the waterproof bottom, making the opening small to slide a wide width foot into.

uncomfortable

I’ve walked through rainy days and puddles without any discomfort or issues.

synthetic-leather

Also the faux leather uppers are rather squeaky,

sporty shoe

My son is only used to wearing athletic shoes or softer leather boots so it took him some getting used to.

hiking boot

Minus one star because the tongue isn't gusseted all the way to the ankle like a truly waterproof hiking boot.

but hiking boots should certainly last more than one day before chunks start falling off!

half-size

I was very relieved to see that they come in half sizes as my son is just a little too big for the 7,

purchase

Merrell Women's Moab 3 Mid Waterproof Hiking Boot, Black/Multi, 10

stretchy

but in practice, it means they become loose too easily and get sucked off in the mud.

strap tightness

I'll have to keep tweaking the lacing tightness and see if I can prevent the foot slipping.

size larger

I followed the advice of many of the other reviews and got 1/2 size bigger than my usual.

Like others have said there was zero break in period and no rubs or uncomfortable spots.

sock

I even tried adding an extra sock for cushioning,

but it was a tiny bit too small in the toes with my thick socks on, so I went up to 8.5 and they fit perfect.

My feet sometimes got clammy, so I would recommend a better moisture wicking sock perhaps.

although I wish I had went a half size larger to accommodate for thicker winter socks.

I wear a variety of merino wool blend socks of midweight so do consider your sock's thickness when your sizing these.

So now I had to decide whether to return or to keep so the next hour was spent making sure that the lacing was how I needed it to be to accommodate my wide feet while wearing thick socks and eventually I got there.

walking dog

So just be aware that if you wear them to walk the dogs or hike, when you step on rocks you will feel them.

Having problem feet, going around barefoot is uncomfortable.

sweaty foot

Bought as a summer shoe to reduce foot sweat.

but does not cause issues for me since the shoes fit snugly, even when the laces are loose.

sole damage

It feels like its made out of foam and not rubber so eventually it will leave an indent on the sole.

The only downside that I see is that the holes on the sole of the shoe are just magnets for pebbles.

worn-out

The pool I swim in is way over chlorinated (it eats my suits in about 75 hrs in the pool and bleached made my hair so badly that where I wore a bobby pin my hair broke (not my entire head just the bottom baby hairs that get wet in class

information

I am not feel secure when teaching on the swimming pool deck, because the shoes don’t have anti slippery track and in the ad said they are.

I will be honest I tried a different company's shoe because I loved the solid blue BUT that shoe had a "FAKE tongue" it was a simple addition of fabrice to look like a tongue that did not show in the picture nor the description of the shoe.

heel

however the heel is stating to come apart after 1 month.

The fabric (not the support) in the heel felt looser after the first week

but I had to get a half size so they were $70. At that price Merrell isn't much more expensive (I haven't tried their water shoe yet but I probably will for my next pair)

I have very flat feet, so I order a half size bigger and add an insert.

sole fabric

The only reason I’m giving it four stars because the soul inserts fabric tends to wear out quickly And come off the foam pad, if they were able to fix this, it be close to five stars for sure, especially for the price.

Once the weave layer is peeled and the insert is completely curled, I toss it and use the shoe without.

Because my last pair was too small I did buy a size up and will say they are a bit big on me, there is about an 1" extra toe room,

size smaller

but I do not think I would have wanted the smaller size.

arch

It has a good rubber sole to them so you can easily walk along the beach and on the board walk with no problems.

I highly recommend if your using them for swimming and walking around the beach.

Comfortable and functional Comfortable to wear, and good traction in a walking lap pool.

but also for activities like kayaking, beach volleyball, or even just walking around a resort or water park.

Absolutely perfect for walking to and from the beach, as well as in the water.

I love these - I can ride my bike to the beach in them and then get in the water on the rocky coast without pain from the stones as I walk over them.

RAX Men's Quick Drying Slip-Resistent Aqua Water Hiking Shoes

unstable

but once I put some stress on down hill hikes, my foot pressure seemed to stretch them out a bit and made the show feel a little to large and unstable.

They didn't cause any uncomfortable rub for 6 miles.

even though there is a small piece to tighten back there, it does not keep it's grip.

sizing

I'd buy a size smaller if you plan to hike downhill on steep terrain.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING I bought these for a 6 day cruise and these things were super comfortable, dried fast, easy to put on and take off, and never had to worry about tying the laces.

They dry quickly and remain snug on my feet even walking through silty river bottoms, with pretty darn good traction once you get out of the water and are walking on slippery rocks.

But for water use and light hiking, I find these to be fantastic and very comfortable.

I don't know if I would be comfortable using them for any strenuous hiking especially in areas with loose rocks and debris since the toe offers no real protection.

The most comfortable water shoes you could imagine, they dry and drain quickly, and they absorb the impact of walking so my joints don't feel the stress.

KEEN mens Newport H2 Closed Toe Water Sandal, Forest Night/Black, 11.5 US

work shoe

Still feel the same, I have a pretty standard size 12 foot, size 12 in this shoe works well for me.

width

These sandals have changed - much narrower Disappointed.

Having worn out my old pairs I bought three new pairs - ALL ARE MUCH NARROWER!!!

I order full size larger than normal and they are still narrow and tight to my feet.

Note that I wear a women's 9.5 shoe, so weight is based on that, and my foot is a normal width.

The only reason why I wouldn’t consider these shoes great in comfort is the toe box was too narrow for my toes, which are longer than normal toes.

but the straps loosen a bit as you wear them.

Fits half size larger I normally wear 11.5,

I will say no more on that, other than after wearing them now for 3 or 4 months I have really grown fond of them, and I am particular about my shoes.

but banging your toes is not, nor is hurting yourself because you wore an unstable shoe.

I expect to wear the 13's more often when it is cold with socks, to give me a little more space.

They stretch out after you have worn them awhile, I can't tell much difference between wearing a 13 and a 12.

I guessed that I was wearing the 13 and I was incorrect, I was wearing the 12.

.I still feel the same after wearing these pretty much constantly for a few months.

Unlike plush, which wears and becomes a blister-friendly area, straps don’t wear down, and can be better adjusted when my feet are swollen.

washing fast

They really do dry out fast, If they get wet I just let them dry and put on a different pair. 5/5/23.

No breaking-in period required; so flexible that they felt like a great fitting shoe that I had worn forever.

The closed-toe design provides ample protection, while the cushioned footbed and secure strap system ensure a snug and comfortable fit.

They allow for a customized fit, ensuring that the sandals stay securely on my child's feet, even during vigorous activities.

I bought them half size bigger as suggested by the manufacturer, as soon as they arrived I tried them, and boy that they fit like a glove,

I ordered a 2nd pair in a size 10 this time and they fit okay

I have enough toe room in the size 12 of these sandals, they fit fine, around the house, walking trails with my dogs, and of course in the water.

but they were a better fit than any other boot I found which makes me happy.

Merrell Women's Moab 3 Hiking Shoe

stretchy strap

I compensated by loosening the laces as much as possible.

small-size width

I have trouble getting shoes that are small enough that are also wide enough consistently where I live.

replacement

I did replace the insert with a $20 plantar fasciitis insert from Amazon, since I have a high arch & the insert the shoe came with is okay,

purchase half-size

Comfortable I bought these a month before hiking in the grand canyon, zion and yosemite.

Go up a half size for a perfect fit I was advised by an expert to go up a half size inany shoes you are actively walking or hiking.

My husband's been wearing men's Merrell hiking shoes for years and now I plan to be a faithful customer, too!

Supportive & Comfortable Love these hikers!

I just spent a long weekend hiking many miles in the mountains and my feet never got sore.

They're sturdy for hiking, and great on concrete for long walking days in the city.

They feel great right out of the box, I hiked several miles and they felt comfortable.

Great for hiking with minimal slippage on rocks.

Kamik Women's Heidi 2 Rain Boot

I do feel like I have smaller calves and they feel a bit snug while walking so they may be tighter on larger calves.

My calves are average sized and the boots aren't tight around my calves.

xmas gift

I was thinking is going to be a problem as it was a gift for Christmas and smaller size could be a problem ,plus on the top of the parcel was from Florida so it was complicated situation.

xmas

Thread broke on mine within 2 weeks of owning which was disappointing!

The stretch out a little and they look really dirty because they're practically white, and I wanted some nicer looking ones for work.

They stretched out nicely and are not too tight.
