When placed side by side on a countertop I can see that the sole of the right boot is tilted inward compared to the left boot.

The two soles do not match at the same location at the back of the boots (again lack of quality control).

I also believe the soles are made to narrow in relationship to the rest of the boot.

With the sole to narrow, this puts your body weight over the EDGE of the heel rather than OVER the heel, thus the poor ankle support.

The only thing I don’t like is if you wear them without socks the inserts stick to your feet when you take them off

With this pair, quality control missed a blemish / or separation between the rubber lower boot and the inner neoprene upper.

The only negative is that they are heavy and I get tired after wearing them for a long time.

I found walking in these quite uncomfortable as they provide no ankle support and are constantly slipping at the heel.

Bought these rain boots cause of all the recent rain in California.

Great for walking the dog in the fields especially during this rainy summer we're had so far.

Great Garden Shoes
I wanted waterproof slip-on shoes that were also sturdy enough for digging holes in the garden.

However, the heaviness is what makes them sturdy, so I am okay with it.

This brand fits significantly better than another brand I purchased a few years ago.
