there is a spot at the lace loop that digs in to my ankle a little so the padding leaves something to be desired.

My left big toe has been numb for over 2 weeks I only wore the boots for 2 days There’s a ridge below the insole that digs into your toe.

It feels like there is no cushion inside the front of the boot

Both really lack a super durable, aggressive sole for harsh conditions.

Big downside is the soles aren't great in slippery, icy conditions.

I got more than a solid year out of these boots until I accidentally spilled a considerable amount of paint thinner on them & wiped it off w/ disinfectant wipes (talk about stupid) - the leather dried very badly & split.

I can honestly say that these boots were 100% waterproof out of the box and stayed that way for nearly a year of very hard wearing.

These boots are so well made that I can still strap them on in an emergency (or if I really don’t need to worry about waterproof boots).

These are extremely comfortable.

I got 9.5 regular and I have to say that these are the most comfortable boot I’ve ever worn!

Honestly they feel more comfortable than my Garmont boots and that’s really saying something!

Probably the most comfortable boots I've owned.

These H2o Carbons are outstandingly comfortable (admittedly break-in took a little, and there was a little chaffing on the ankle, remedied by some mole skin), they are lightweight and I've put untold miles on them for 8-12 hours a day in all terrains in great comfort.

As others have noted, they’re a bit heavy — about as heavy as a other Bogs with composite toes.

Which means now when it’s sloppy or muddy, I don’t have to choose between my work boots or my rain boots.

I work in corrections and these boots are the most comfortable pair I’ve owned and they hold up well.

The down side to this is that it adds a bit of bulk under that laces and that is causing a little discomfort that was not there in the previous design.

The only difference is they have attached the tongue to help make the boots more waterproof, which is great!

They fit great and I can and have been wearing them all day.Before wearing them I treated them with a healthy dose of mink oil by covering them with a paste type mink oil then sitting them in a sightly warmed oven to melt it so it would be absorbed into the leather.I have worn this type of boot for many years and have found that my mink oil treatment softens the leather makeing them very easy to "break in' plus adding  water proofing,I highly reccamend to anyone buying these boot do the same.They are well made and very comfy to wear,and at a great price,thumbs up in my book.

My Fiancé loved these boots,they fit him great!

They feel great from the first day you buy them and they don't need to go through the stiff break in period that you have to with most boots.

Zipper problems
1st time worn, zippers don't stay up.

My only complaint is that the zippers are a little stiff during closure.

After putting my foot inside, I have to pinch the opening together with one hand and wiggle everything while zipping.

I'm hoping that the zippers will improve as I put more on/off reps on these.

First off, I had one heck of a time pulling the zippers up while on my feet.

So I struggled again to zip up the boots, and again after walking just a few steps in them they unzipped again.

Probably the biggest reason I'm disappointed in these is the zipper.

I think the zipper would have been better served on the side.

Only a few minutes after wearing the boots the zipper is completely undone.


Poor quality for such a brand the sole came out on the like the 2nd time wearing them the zip doesn’t stay done up, take my advice waste of money avoid these boots

Your wide sizes at the very least need to be a couple of centimeters larger.

I've never had this issue with a wide boot before.

It's extremely painful, and as a result I cannot wear these more than one day in a row.

They're extremely painful to the point that I had to buy another pair of boots.

I thought maybe that the leather would stretch and the problem would go away.

These new boots are waterproof and the soles are super easy to clean.

He says they are very comfortable and  his feet don't get wet from the mop water.

My son works in a restaurant kitchen and his shoes get sticky with cheese and flour and the soles of his old shoes were very difficult to clean.

When i got them had to reat them with literally 2/3rds of a bottle of mink oil because the leather was so dry and stiff the boots have no internal liner its just stitched leather and the sole in my right boot is starting to peal up after less than 2 weeks wearing them

!, I order one size bigger, I’m 12 and I order 13, and is big, even with the linens on it, so if you have normal feet, no fat ones, just order your size, I was about to exchange for my size

I ordered a new pair this year, and the liners are already worn through in several places in just 2-3 weeks!

Disappointing to be buying new liners less than a month after spending almost $100 on these.

I’m using already this one’s since a some weeks and I have no complains, working in the woods with rain in Humboldt county with this till the moment This boots work great, are comfortable, warm and the still toe make it safe.
