Timberland Back Road Hiker Boot (Toddler/Little Kid)

wrong size

sporty shoe

My son is only used to wearing athletic shoes or softer leather boots so it took him some getting used to.

small-size

hiking boot

Minus one star because the tongue isn't gusseted all the way to the ankle like a truly waterproof hiking boot.

but hiking boots should certainly last more than one day before chunks start falling off!

half-size

I was very relieved to see that they come in half sizes as my son is just a little too big for the 7,

wear

He wears them and walks and trots all around and loves them.

He is now 19 months old and still can wear them.

At first the 2 1/2 year old refused to wear them,

He refused to wear all his other shoes once he got them.

He's been wearing them now for four or five months, and they still look new.

But he loved hiking in them and wore them all the time.

Our son has worn this exact model shoe for at least 3 years and they have always been of excellent quality and extremely durable, showing almost no wear before he outgrew them each time.

The only time his feet got wet while wearing these was when his foot was submerged, so naturally the water came in through the top.

active kid

but will not last with an active kid Cosmetically, the boots are attractive and I love the idea of the wrap around toe protector for our active little guys.

boot

We bought these for our two year old son as fall/winter boots.

I hope Timberland continues to make this boot, because I plan to buy it every year for my son as long as he likes them!

We bought these little hiking boots for our son who was getting cold and wet feet while we were walking a trail that has many wet spots where you must cross a creek.

I would say these boots did a great job keeping his feet clean and dry.

These boots are attractive and my son absolutely loves them and loves to show them off.

This will ruin the nice exterior material and these great boots will no longer be waterproof.

Timberland kids boot The boots arrived in a timely manner in great condition.

Being a Timberland boot owner myself I wanted my child to have them as mine have withstood the years of use and were comfortable from the moment I put on the boot.

waterproof

I haven't tested them for being waterproof or .

I haven't tested them for being waterproof or for durability because we just got them.

He's tested their durability and waterproofing, and they pass with flying colors.

These are waterproof and have a good tread pattern.

Because the boots are waterproof hiking and so sturdy, it makes them a very stiff boot and heavy boot.

The material is waterproof which is great for a brave toddler who likes going through all forms of water.

Plan to pass them onto my friend's grandson when my grandson outgrows them.

Great boot for a great price Got these for a 4 year old boy who likes hiking.

Great boots for a young hiker Got these for my grandson.

but watching my kid I can say they are comfortable.

DREAM PAIRS Kids Adventurous Light-Weight Adjustable Straps Summer Sandals (Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid)

thick sole

but I was hoping they would last well over the summer and they did not, the bottom layer of shoe that was an accent color peeled off causing him to trip) These on the other hand have a thick sole with a good arch, he can run in them and the protective fabric undr the straps prevents sores while we transition from tennis shoes to sandals for the summer.

tennis shoe

tennis

sweaty

Plus, the breathable mesh upper allows for maximum airflow, preventing sweat and odor buildup.

strap

At first my 5 year old complained about the back angle strap hurting

Straps do seem a bit long and that’s really the only thing neither of us really liked,

My only complaint is that the straps are too long for narrow feet, so they stick out too much once adjusted.

comfortable

Rocky Men's S2V Work Boot

walking

Havent had any hot spots like my old boots where I would have a hot spot in like 15 min or walking in them.

vacation

Only reason I purchased a new pair was for a hunting trip as the old pair still has a little life left in them.

uncomfortable

comfortable, well made boots I'm in the Navy Reserve and got these because the ones I were issued way back when were getting really uncomfortable.

He's working for a construction/remodeling company for the summer where he could choose to wear tennis shoes instead of these boots, and he chooses the boots.

comfortable boot

pediped Unisex-Child Sahara Flat

width

Not a wide shoe as described Ordered these as a replacement for m width that did not fit.

The width of these shoes was exactly the same, not wide as stated in the description.

size big

Just a heads up: because of the range of size- they may seem big at first (they always look a little large at the beginning of the season

return/exchange size

but didn't cause any tripping, but I decided to return them for the size down.

replacement

purchase half-size

but they come larger than I would have expected. Luckily I read the reviews first and ordered half size less than my son's (and still they were a bit large!)

summer shoe

washing

sole interior

After wearing them for a month in the field I noticed some minor fraying around the stitching from the sole on the inside of the foot.

durable

New Balance Unisex-Child Dynasoft 545 V1 Hook and Loop Running Shoe

He cannot yet tie his shoes, so these have fake laces and Velcro that make them easy to put on.

damage

There were no holes or scratches in the fabric.

growing kid

I needed something with a thicker, stronger sole and better support for a growing kid.

Stride Rite Disney Frozen Alternative Closure Light-Up Sneaker (Toddler/Little Kid)

width foot

but let your child break them in for a couple days and from my experience with this shoe it should stretch out and widen out to your child's foot width.

top toe

Hard to feel toes through the tops because of the hard plastic where the lights are.

stretchy

size

She is measuring at a size 6.5 so I ordered a size 7.

daughter

light-weight

cute

KEEN Unisex Kid Newport H2 Sandal

stretchy strap

Length is fine, a little big, and the straps are looser so my foot moves around more.

The kids shoes have some small adjustments to make them even better and safer for kids, one is the velcro strap I mentioned earlier.

pain

as it's quite a pain to thread back through if it comes out of the loop.

length

They've never left blisters on his feet and he's worn them a lot.

I've worn mine all day at water parks, in and out of the water and my feet were comfortable all day.

My toddler also wears his all day at the water park, and is running around the yard at full speed that afternoon.

He has worn them at the park and the closed heel design keeps the multch shards from getting into the shoes.

Little brother will be able to wear these no problem in a few years

but they are really nice and well wearing.

He wears them at the splash pad, swimming, or just around the town!

They have a little loop to keep them secure which is genius for the active toddler as well.

They are the best play shoes for kids since they can run, hike, and water is no problem.

High quality children's sandal with very durable toe protection, perfect for learning to ride bikes!

They hold up and are super cute and comfy for my toddler!

Nice sandals Great sandals that last for kids.

They are probably suitable for kids with narrower feet.

My toddler is outside 80% of his waking hours, we are in the mud, in grave, in water, grass and all over again.

1/4 the price of adult sandals First of all, if you can fit into kids shoes, do it!

I have a pair of Big Kids Venice in size 6 and they fit great,

They fit well and are easy to get on and off thanks to a single velcro strap at the top.

The rest of the shoe's fit is done via a durable cord with cord lock.

For the cost of these shoes I thought for sue that they would fit him for the entire summer.

Durable These for my kid perfectly and held up great all summer long!

Great (but size up) These are great, sturdy, comfortable and cute.

High quality, durable sandal These are high quality and durable everyday summer sandals.

Sturdy, buy a size up Love how sturdy these are, great design,

Wanted something comfortable, sturdy, airy, with toe protection for my two year old.

New Balance Girls DynaSoft Trail Magic V1 Boa Running Shoe, Washed Burgundy/Blacktop, 11 Wide Little Kid

sizing

I wish they made them in men’s sizing so I could get him the next size up.

Great shoes for kids My son loved these shoes and wore them for a year.

Best of all, he absolutely loves wearing them.

They have held up to his 13 year old wear and tear.

If i let her, she would wear them every day.

He wears them into the ground through sports, hiking, and everyday reckless play.

We did a trekking trip through Patagonia and he wore these for fifty miles in a few days (versus the Salomon boots that we had brought him).

He then continued to wear them for a few more months to school, basketball games, and yard time.

Highly recommend for any active kid who loves to explore!

but I do believe that these shoes, while much pricier than other brands, are so good for heavily active kids.

I bought the New Balance Dynasoft Trail Magic V1 running shoes for my five-year-old, and they’ve been fantastic.

Great shoes These are perfect for younger kids who havent mastered lace tying, so easy to use and great when you have multiple kids you dont want to redo the laces on the trails all the time.

The fit is good for my child’s wide foot.

Fabulous tightening mechanism They make my kid feel like she is “Detective Conan” when she tighten the runners using the tab.

It is very easy to tighten and losen the runner -one of the hardest part of kids independence.

Comfortable, according to my 7 year old, great traction, and easy on/off.

Comfortable Love this sneaker for my son it’s so easy to use I wish they make bit stronger on lace wrap it’s comes out pretty quick.

They hold up well on different terrains, and my son says they’re really comfortable.

My daughter loves them, theyre comfortable and fit well and are very light weight.

They’re breathable, stylish, comfortable, well made, and no laces to tie.

hiking

The traction is impressive, making them ideal for hikes and outdoor play.
