Upishi is a great casual wear.

The sole is very soft and cushiony and hence can be worn even when going for long walks.

New Balance Men's Fresh Foam Arishi V2 Running Shoe

It's mainly that the outer sole wears quickly.

Mostly the sole of the shoe has worn away much faster than I have experience with previous shoes (having had it since April the traction on the front of the shoe is essentially non-existent at this point) I have only used them for running and biking and have not done much biking so one would think they would not have worn as much as they have.

Pretty disappointed in how quickly the soles have been used up.

Additionally the padding inside the shoe leaves much to be desired for, it is very thin and not very comfortable.

The touted Fresh Foam midsole is harder than I thought.

It was only after inserting some aftermarket gel insoles did the bottom of my feet feel comfortable.

The Arishi's squeeze my feet from the sidez toward the front of the shoe, near the bottom of the laces around the balls of the feet, in a way that the 517's simply didn't despite them both being size 12.

I put the soles of the 517's against the Arishi's and sure enough, the Arishi's ARE a tad shorter in length from heel to toe, maybe by as much as half a shoe size.

These also aren't as comfortable as the higher end fresh foam running shoes (which I also own).

My husband has a need to wear certain shoes for his condition.

For some odd reason this particular pair of NB shoes was to small

I had to return them and order a different NB style, same size and that pair fit him just right.

A tad small and lightweight
I bought these to replace a pair of NB 517's that I ordered a year ago and have used essentially only for CrossFit style workouts.

Disappointing
When I was a younger man I used to run for exercise and it was then that I developed a brand loyalty for New Balance running shoes.

As other reviews state, the tongue of the shoe and heel aren't as sturdy as their high end running shoes so you have to untie them to get in and out.

New Balance you lost me with these shoes.

These are great for walking and casual usage.

Fit well and great for walking, even long hours of walking.

In the meantime, I find that running shoes are comfortable and well cushioned to the point where I can walk and go about my daily activities without and pain or fatigue.

These sneakers are great.

The Heel drop works perfectly for my style of running, and they are comfortable across the top of the foot.

They fit accurately and feel very comfortable.

Back to the shoe though, it's a good fit, I have a 10.5 (Usually get a 10 in shoes) and it allows plenty of room in the toe box area.


Shoes are same as picture, fit perfectly.
