This is about the only boot I can wear with my wide feet.

Comfortable for all day wear
I’ve had these boots about a month now and I’ve worn them quite a bit.

I like the side zip and the fact that I can actually adjust the laces to accommodate days when I wear a thicker sock.

The shoes are the style I used to wear in Clarks when they made the style and they were quite comfortable.

I wear a size 6 And these are true to size.

Having found a boot for walking that is not too heavy and looks nice several years ago and in a narrow fit, I was confident that this boot in navy leather would be fine.

The fit was off like the other reviews mentioned, in my case one boot is narrow/the other boot is wider than the other.

but the problem I had with it and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I work in a brewery and stand in puddles of beer and water for most of the day.

I have a pair of Red Wing Iron Rangers (size 8D) as well and they are not nearly as comfortable out of the box or even after being broken in.

Also on the left shoe it feels like the sole is higher on the inside of the shoe and tends to feel like I’m walking on the inside of my foot.

The fit is perfect
The fit on these shoes is perfect and as I wear them they are becoming quite comfortable and I do wear them a lot!

I can do an hour on the elliptical wearing them with no problem.

It is to date the most comfortable work boot I have worn for long periods on a hard surface

The insole has a nice amount of cushion and are comfortable for standing and walking The boots fit true to size.

This boot is like walking on a cloud, and also amazingly silent.

Great boots
I've had these boots for a week now and the break in was very easy and relatively pain free.

The leather seems to be good quality and the boots seem well made.

The leather on these boots feels of high quality and the construction of the boot feels to be of good craftsmanship.

All in all I am a huge fan of this boot and I’m excited to see how they age and I will definitely update this review if anything changes in how I feel about this boot.

I have retired them as a work boot and use them for welding personal projects at home and do not have a problem now they have had a chance to dry.


Snug fit just what I needed for motorcycling.

They are comfortable and looks like they’ll last if those frayed spots don’t give out.

This an addendum to my 1st review the price was wrong I had $279 instead of $160 I've boughton Borns for years the only problem with this pair is that the strap fell off and there's only 1 way to fix it is by gluing & I'm afraid to ruin this beautiful boot not to mention $160.00 plus the little stud can't be taken off & put back on.

even though I was just past the 90days it was only my 2nd time wearing them they would have taken care of me whether it was to fix them or a new pair either way problem solved the customer is still always right I know I've been in customer service for years & taught that you want to please the customer because it will bring them back again & again

These shoes look very nice and I’ve tried to try them on and they do not even go on although I’m sure they would fit once I could get them on,

There is an inner sock inside the shoe that is very tight.

Since it is fabric, washing them could be challenging due to the dirt not lifting completly and showing later on while drying
