Size 8 runs small
I wear a size 8 in almost all shoes,

but this shoe in size 8 was closer to a 7.5.

The size 9 was so tight on the top of my foot that my foot hurt for 30 minutes after wearing them for 60 seconds.

I wear these at home and when I go out.

He usually wears a wide shoe, and these fit his feet well.

So far there is no foot odor after wearing them barefoot as well as with dress socks.

I was looking for a house slipper as constantly walking on my hard floors at home (either barefoot or with socks) was causing plantar fasciitis.

However it still came quite small, so I placed another order for size 11/12 thinking it would fit her right.

But NO, to my daughter’s huge disappointment once again, the pair received today is wayyyyy too too big, like it’s 2-3 sizes bigger.

I examined it closely only to realize that they had sent me the WRONG size, 13 instead of 11/12.

Only negative is that they run small, definitely size up.

but that's a lot of money for them to be small.

but the listing size chart is totally misleading.

I'll be returning these to size up to a 10 or 11/12.

My daughter wears a 2 normally, I purchased a size 3 thinking she could grow in to them…the 3 fits perfect.

1) It doesn't get as dirty as the cheaper brands because the bottom material is not as porous to it traps dirt much less 2) Related to the last point: because it doesn't trap things like bacteria as much as the cheaper and more porous sandals, there's no problems with stinky feet!

If you have some super cheap toddler sandals from the store and they constantly make your child's feet stink, then buy these and see the difference.

A six inch boot is problamatic to start with, so the collar (at the ankle) has to be made well: These are too wide, as is the last hieght inside the shoe, from the top of the toe to the top of the toe box, to the arch; just too roomy in all the wrong places, and my feet are dead average.

but if I dont lace the last two lugs (from the arch to the ankle) outside, the collar will eat my ankles alive.

Just what was wanted
Ordered for husband as a exact replacement boot after wearing out the first pair.

These things wear just fine, I wore a pair for a good 8 months before I bought another.

I had no discomfort when standing in them for 8 or more hours at once, and they breath well so there was no excessive foot odor.

I have been buying Rothco boots on line for a while now, I can get two pairs, sometimes three for the price of the bigger brand name boots.

I really like the 6" boot vs. the tall ones, lets my feet breath a little easier.

Take the pledge and spray a thin coat on the boot, buff the shine in within 60 seconds and you will blow your fellow officers away with the shine (no Joke)  Apply the pledge once a week to keep the luster from flaking and cracking, each time you buff in the shine the luster absorbs the oils from the lemon pledge and keeps it pretty flexible.

but they became hard to find and the companies that sold them online were terrible about delivery.

but they are all leather - a big plus since the cloth interiors in the Timberlands tended to retain foot odor and wear through.

PROS: the leather is legit and overall the construction quality is quite high, and for me this type of design (3-eye leather with a decent tread) is so versatile I can wear shoes like this nearly anywhere.

At first, it felt ridiculously tight (so much so, that I considered exchanging it for a bigger size) BUT I persisted & forced my feet in.

Got used to them pretty quickly though
They were definitely snug when I got them, and they actually caused the back of my feet to blister,

but overall I enjoy wearing these
I have narrow feet so the width is a little large but overall I enjoy wearing these.

Considering that I sweat easily & my feet are often times really stinky, these are GREAT!
