but even so, this is not what I expect from New Balance.

I guess if you don't spend over $100.00 for a pair of shoes, New Balance doesn't care about any close to quality or pride in construction.

The shoes offer no give around the ankle and is stiff, it hit my ankle bone and was very uncomfortable.

but the overall shoe is probably the most uncomfortable shoe I've ever had the misfortune to own.

the tongue (it's not really a tongue) is not movable and is stiff as well, digging into my leg.

When we received notification that the delivery was here, we looked on and around our porch where all deliveries happen and we could not find them.

That was because when I took our recycle bin out the next morning I found that the delivery driver had left them in our driveway in front of the garage.

They do run a bit on the small side, so I recommend upping a half size and I also bought the Wide width as well and it seems to be a great fit.

but these are the cheapest made shoes I've ever bought.

Ordered a size 11 and they were super tight on my foot realized it was a size 11 In womens.

Broke down horribly
These shoes are horrible quality for a work shoe.

Broke down and torn all over in a matter of a few months.

made for 3 toed lizzard men
extremely narrow and shallow, opening so small couldnt get my foot in them, instead of lacing you can open has some kinda elastic material and a bungee cord gadjet,, maybe ok for tighten

but if i had a slightly wider foot it might bother me.

but it makes for a very uncomfortable shoe.

They are light weight and do not put pressure on your foot.

Standing still for long periods is as comfortable as any hiking boots I've worn.

durable

As for durability, the shoe appears as durable as the hiking version, which is to say, very well constructed.

The grip is solid, albeit a bit less aggressive since they attempted to incorporate non-slip-on-smooth-wet-surfaces type grip rather than the aggressive, large grip treads of the hiking shoe.

I have used them both for hiking and climbing/bouldering, and the grip points rising high up the sides are super useful; you can bend your foot almost unrestricted and find grips on more than just the soles.

Instead of a tradtional tongue and lace system, these have a neoprene inner boot that wraps around your upper foot/ankle.
