waterproof Updated review 2/1/2019: I gave these boots a try under a running water and we tried them again in the rain and they do seem to be waterproof.

The reason we kept trying- these boots fit best, seem to be most comfortable (in other brands feet wiggle in all-too-wide boot), they look good, our kid likes them and puts them easily on (2y10m) and they are not too wide at the top, so rain water doesn't get in.

Well made and durable After reviewing rain boots FOREVER, purchased these for my grandson.

They’re heavy duty, sized perfectly (he’s a boy size 12), nice height to avoid water getting inside boot, and treads help prevent slipping in muck (ie barn).

The only drawback are that the pull up straps always tear off, usually after a short time wearing them.

First - these seem like very well constructed boots.

My daughter wears orthotics and there was plenty of room in the foot of the boot for her orthotic + her foot: no squishing.

Not meant to last We owned these boots less than 6 months before the plastic cracked in multiple places…clearly not waterproof anymore now that they have gaping holes.

Hole after 2 months Boots lasted two months before a hole formed rendering them useless.

We've had these for 9 months, and at 8 months, they started cracking where the edge meets the top, where the foot bends the boot.
