So I have a pair of arctic wide calf I think knee high boots.

The thinh I like about them is I can literally just step into the wide calf arctics, no laces, with thick gloves on, no hands needed, and walk out the door and do chores and other stuff all day in the snow or mud.

They are my favorite boots midnor wide calf.

I love the way that they fit on my feet, they don't fall off, and I can walk for a couple hours without them being uncomfortable or rubbing big raw spots on my feet.

Comfort:  I have worn these on several 4-mile walks after recent snowfalls, and my feet were just as comfortable at the conclusion of the walks as they were at the beginning.

I have skinny legs and they look a little funny because of the extra room.

The only issue my wife really found was that the top of the calf had a lot of extra space which she doesn’t like as much as when they fit all the way up.

The shaft of the boot is slouchier than I expected them to be since they are wide and my calves are pretty thin (for reference I wear a size 0-1 in pants, 5'6, 115 lbs), so that means these boots would likely be very accommodating for larger calf sizes.

Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because these boots seem like they are for wide calfs.

The only thing I disliked about these suede boots is that they came with a strong plastic like smell that flooded my bedroom literally for days, so just a heads up if you happen to be sensitive to strong odors.

These might be good for those with wide calves.

I received these boots in a size 10 and they fit my feet comfortably.

I'm a true size 10 and these boots fit nicely on my feet with a bit of breathing room to spare, and the block heels are stable and just the right height to where it's comfortable to walk and stand in these boots for longer periods of time.

i bought these boots to wear to nashville and they are so comfortable and not too high so it doesn’t hurt my feet when i walk in them!

but i was surprised with how comfortable these are.

These are good black boots, the heal is a nice height and very comfortable.

Other than that, they seem to be true to size and very comfortable.

but they actually looked like nice riding boots.

My main complaint is that the toe box is constricting and hasn’t really changed with time to break them in.

They do have a longish toe box so may not be great for large shoe size.

Like another reviewer mentioned who was questioning whether hers were counterfeit mine came in a plain brown box.

Also, they are also still too wide in the calf despite ordering 'narrow calf' size.

I bought these boots in narrow calf and they are still too big in the calves for me.

And the boots I purchased were marked down when I don't think any of the others were so that also made me question the authenticity.

The footbed is hard and there is absolutely no lining to make the boot comfortable.

Adding a gel insert improves comfort quite a bit, as I wouldn’t want to walk in these for several hours as is.

However, I sized up a half size and shouldn't have as recommended.

I don’t have wide calves so I like that these are not too wide in the calf area.

The make a clicky noise when I walk, which I find very satisfying.

Easy to walk in, heel height was perfect.

The chunky heel is a manageable height for me to walk in comfortably,

but I got the 8.5 wide and fits even better, very comfortable foot bed.

I have THE HARDEST time finding a nice comfy pair of leather boots, especially ones that don’t buckle and fit my skinny calves.

Runs narrow
In wide-width shoes, I can wear as small as a 5 1/2 (sometimes).

This means a pretty low clearance for the arch area, not to mention an exceptionally narrow width.

Also more info about fit:  I'm thinking it's fair to say these run long and narrow.

As a woman whose men's size can range from a 5 1/2 to a 7 1/2, depending on width, these size 8's are about 3 inches longer than my feet, when my feet are next to the boots.

And yet, they are pretty snug width-wise, and would be especially so if I used all the supportive inserts that I like.

If you have wide feet, they just aren't roomy, especially if you plan on using them with orthotics and thick socks.

but the wide open tops invite all kinds of debris.

But these types of boots always start to form a split in the same place, at the spot above the top of your foot along the sides where the most amount of flexing occurs. everytime.

That deteriorated the rubber and within a week or so they were cracked & leaking.

Comfortable, comparatively lightweight/flexible (for work boots), nice wide calf, good tread, and waterproof.

But just slipping them on right now, they seem like they will be excellent fitment and very comfortable for a walk through 12 inch deep water.

Even with the stock inserts removed, walking through snow, I don't feel like they are at risk of being pulled off.

but I can walk and stand in them all day with adequate comfort.


These boots fit well and were sturdy for work around the farm.

Saw these inexpensive, USA-made boots locally - the price was good & I needed a pair of utility boots rather badly.

The cloth-ish liner provides a modicum of comfort that truly-cheap rubber boots don't provide, and when left upside down out of doors, these boots dry full within one or two days; not bad considering I have no boot dryer to fall back on.

Overall, I think these are a great, all-purpose, utility boot for the price.

I was sufficiently impressed by these boots, that I went out and bought another set of them without the safety toe locally (Amazon didn't have them in size 8),

but for a solid, inexpensive rubber boot, I don't see how you can go wrong.

They are very easy to slide my feet into and out of.

They are designed to hug the foot pretty closely, so that they won't slip off.

This is beautiful love the boots!

We do love visiting a gorgeous town up north and you mostly walk up and down their main street from shop to shop, restaurants, etc.

We even visit their big fair across the river in their huge park every year in the fall where they have hundreds of vendors of handmade items and we walk a lot there and even walk across the bridge and walk downtown.

Other than that,  I finally found a boot I love and that fits!

though these have a "slouch-look" to them, these stay up and do not slouch down like other boots that I own.

They are made very well, extremely comfortable and they clean up nicely with a damp wash cloth.

but I must say that I was pleasantly surprised, these are extremely comfortable.

Still, the style is cute and the footbed feels very supportive.

There is no padding in these like the 4 pairs of shoes they make.

Also I have wide calves and I am able to wear these just fine, even was able to zip them over a thin pair of pants.

If you like the shoes,  these boots won’t disappoint you.

i truly love these boots, they’re comfortable, i wore them to a concert where i was standing for 9 hours and didn’t have any regrets on my shoe choice.
