although it has velcro on it has no ability to tighten or loosen across the lower foot and toes.

The footbed is a little loose due to not being able to tighten that toe strap.

The strap is glued into the foam cushion and there is a a very stretchy piece of elastic instead of the more functional plastic ring so there is no way to tighten or loosen the toe strap.

I am so disappointed that I will not be able to wear them because the end of my foot literally slides around with normal walking.

I also have wide feet (4E) and my sneakers fit fine.

The outer sole is a little too narrow also, sometimes I feel like I can turn an ankle because my foot slips over off the sole while walking and it’s feel very uneven.

Good Boots Needed Slight Adjustment
I have a wide (fat) foot and the 12 x-wide fit me great.

Waterproofing is great as it's not really full leather, bottom part has this rubber like construction and well constructed heal which is a full solid base and no individual parts.

Upper is made of waterproof leather and sealed well along the seam.

It's well protected from the steel toe to the waterproofing.

Anyway, first impression, solid, slightly lighter than my Timberlands with a steel toe as well.
