I cannot recall ever having had sore feet after a full day hiking in these boots, sometimes over 16 miles a day.

The toe box is not too narrow for my slightly wide forefoot, my high-volume midfoot is comfortable, and my relatively narrow heel is gripped well by the boot.

(I carry an extra pair of similar laces, JUST make sure they fit through the pulleys.)

I generally wear a size 12 M boot, and the EU 46 (equivalent to US size 12) fits my foot very well.

This fit is even with fairly thick wool blend Thorlo Trekking socks (no blisters even on the first hiking trip in these boots!

HIGH QUALITY BOOTS - TRUE TO SIZE - FIT MY NARROW 12B FEET WELL I am extraordinarily picky about product fit, materials quality and workmanship.

The SCARPA Kenesis Pro GTX last is a good last for narrow feet; this boot is not going to accommodate wide feet (E and higher widths). The Kenesis Pro GTX fit perfectly in the length - so I would rate the sizing as "True to fit."

I didn't get bent out of shape about the discrepancy and just used common sense and fit the boot.

I have worn these boots extensively during three years of summer/fall hiking trips, mainly on rocky terrain above tree line in Colorado.

These boots have excellent ankle support, bulletproof construction, a protective full rubber rand, and firm shank (I am 6'2", and I usually carry a moderately heavy pack).

The Vibram soles grip well, and combined with the stability of the boot I can use my toe or boot edge on smaller footholds when the going gets steep and difficult.

I looked a long time for a cemented sole hiking boot.

If you want a lifestyle\urban wear boot look at a light hiking boot.

Explain to them how you intend to use the boot.

For me personally, the Smartwool light cushion hiking crew combined with the SPENCO Thin Total Support insole is the combo for this boot.

Although not very flexible, the sole's rocker action functions well on the trail, even when walking quickly (and occasionally jogging) with a moderate pack.

The moderately high ankle also keeps rocks and shallow stream water out of the boot, while the flexible padded collar on the sides and back above the ankles allows full strides without discomfort.

The excellent, aggressive lug design of the sole and the fairly "sticky" rubber may contribute to this wear.

I also will have the older ones resoled, and if I get a new sole that grips well, I will have a good backup pair with lots of life left in them.

But after 6 months the soles started to come apart.

When I finally wore through the soles of 1 pair I replaced them with this new model "2".

I was just walking on wet grass and after 15 min I felt some humidity at the tip of the toe box.

but am very pleased with the fit, feel, and grip of these boots.

I like the way they fit, I'd say kind of like a glove.

Comfy and Solid Like most of these top end hikers these fit like a glove and feel amazing on your feet.

The old version were ridiculously comfortable - like a good fitting athletic shoe.

This makes it harder to tighten/loosen the laces and get a good fit.

They so comfortable, the fit great, and they are a great looking boot.

And don't let your kiddo run around in these things for the entire day, mine decided not to wear his sneakers after swim time and ended up with some minor scrapes and small blisters on the sides of his feet.

The only issue is it makes them a bit slippery on certain floors.

They fit true to size, are soft enough inside for baby not to wear socks (I still suggest they do), have an adjustable elastic drawstring that won’t budge, and the bottom sole is such high quality grippy rubber that is PERFECT for being outdoors or for new walkers.

So many others were so much more and this brand seemed to fit all of our expectations in a water shoe.

They fit her almost perfectly with just a touch of room to grow,

They are of a much higher quality, so the fit is more like that of a sneaker than a typical water shoe that you'd find at big box stores.

These are not slippery on wet surfaces and they seem to dry fairly fast.

The water shoes are also really easy for a toddler to get on.

The bottoms have good grip and are not slippery when wet.

The shoe seems sturdy so far with a nice rubber bottom.

The sole is sturdy, and my little one looks incredibly comfortable in them.

They have a cute design, dry quickly when you remove the soles after use, and are easy to clean with some detergent or even dish soap.

Bottom line: great shoes, good deal, able to survive the daily abuse of a 5 year old boy at day camp all summer. Recommended!
