I bought these shoes as a woman with wider feet and I honestly love them.

These are so comfortable and wide enough to accommodate my bunion.

One thing to be aware, the soles are very soft and flexible, not like a Keen walking shoe, I would definitely not wear them on any surface except pavement, they are very much a casual shoe.

I decided to open the box, pic #2 & check out the shoes and was blown away by the obvious fakes I was sent.

These NMD R2 looked bulky, poorly stitched, made with inferior quality materials.

Pic #5 - This is the biggest tell-tale that these are fake.

Seller sent me these fakes, complete with identical build numbers.

Pic #9 - The materials used on the uppers from the fake pair are dramatically different from that of authentic pair.

The word 'STRIPES' is spelled incorrectly on the fake pair this seller, Higher flying, sent me.

Left side are the fake pair, and even the stitching from the left shoe to the right shoe is dramatically different.

But compared to seller's stock photo, on the right, neither of my fake shoes come close to how Adidas stitched their NMD R2.

I noticed the size listed on outside of box was not what I had inadvertently purchased and set them aside, to deal with the return later.

The next day, upon closer inspection, I noticed that the embossed Adidas name and logos on box were "off", chalked it up to the box being beaten to hell.

Don't expect to be running sprints or hiking in these, though.

The one thing I'd knock these for is the lack of a speed lacing system.

The only complaint I have about the build of them is that the thin material that comes glued to the insoles started peeling under my toes which drove me crazy so I just pulled it out.

Fast delivery, AWESOME Boot
I did a lot of research before buying these boots.

This is day 2 of wearing them, the boots are forming to feet perfect so far, already MUCH better than 90+ % of what I've had besides military jungle boots.

With my dumb mistake out of the way, I'll say the construction of these boots seems really solid for the price point.

The waterproof design with a membrane similar to Gore-Tex and a heavily lugged sole that mimics a Vibram design makes for a nice boot in snow, rain, or mud.

I work in a kitchen and when I scrub the floors I splash water all over them fairly often and no leaking.

And the tongue is gusseted to just above the ankle which should help keep water and debris out.

After wearing them through the whole winter now, everything is still intact.

A costly lesson learned - Inspect your purchases for defects & damages.

There's a metallic silver Sharpie marker line drawn thru the RYKA logo on the side of sandal & besides the logo is a tear in the thick rubber strap that forms down to meet the footbed Over 3 months have passed, therefore it's far too late to return the defective sandals for a refund.
