She is hard to fit for shoes, as she has wider feet,

The disappointment for me with these boots lies in the fact that the wide calf, in this case, is really not that much wider than a typical calf size, knee-high boot.

I have several other pairs of wide calf boots to compare these with and they are so much wider.

Soles have cracked so these things aren't going to last much longer.

To me they felt kind of scratchy, made my feet sweaty (I live in Florida where the humid is always 2,000% lol) and I thought I read they had more support.

Size Matters
The size seemed a bit small for a 15/16 sized slipper.

So I bought these for myself as house slippers because I have high arches and have issues with my back and arthritis and with covid I've been working from home barefoot a lot which was causing issues.

I wore them next on a rainy day and my feet were literally SOAKED in the first 5 minutes.

Bought these to use as waterproof yard shoes.

After few months, the exterior material on the toe box of the left shoe has cracked and neither shoe is waterproof.

These are also not waterproof as advertised.

but after a few minutes of walking around in wet grass, it was obvious the boots were NOT, in fact, waterproof.

but when I got home and took the boots off, yup, my socks were wet.

After I wore them about six times (I hike a 2 mile route through grassy pastures each day) I thought I was feeling a bit of dampness in the toe area.

These do not have the quality I associated with Rockport, I do NOT recommend them and would not buy again.

Very disappointing, especially since I've relied on Rockport work boots for years and have been pleased.

The loops for the shoes strings are beginning to fail and break after just a month and a half or use.

The top loop broke after just a month and a half of use, of course just after the return period expired.

My husband bought a pair of Rockport shoes and loves them.

I love the soft material for the upper and  The laces are thick.

I opted for the 9 since I could wear a sock if need be (I prefer to wear no sock with shearling lined boots and keep powder to sprinkle a bit in the foot bed now and then even though I'm not prone to, "stinky feet" :) These ran a bit large on me,

I guess I'm glad I went up to a 9 as the fit is easily remedied with a sock which I'm not happy about,

However, the next trip was to a hotel that was not ski-in, ski-out and we were going to be constantly walking through slushy parking lots, clambering through snowdrifts and tromping down snowy sidewalks to get to dinner, etc.

but not as straight haired shaggy, but billowy lovely soft fur.

These boots definitely get you noticed and it was great fun raking in the compliments.

I was fortunate to get this boot at 20% off with a coupon and the price was AMAZING given what I've seen them advertised for.

The, "fur" is lovely and even length on both boots and no matting or other.
