The product notes its anti-slip, BUT i could clearly feel myself losing grip on a thin layer of water.

The water resistant is only good if you do not complete submerge the shoe.

The only issue I had is the elastic shoestring tie at the top broke,

Not easy or worth it to fix it and the laces just don't work right without the last loop, so these now become former shoes.

However, the normal expensive work shoes I was buying cost me 3 time the amount and lasted at best 1 year.

So for me, these shoes work quite well, and are good work shoes for the price.

but I had to return them because they run small and the largest size that they offer is too small for me.

Then when I got them, the size 6 (which is my shoe size for every type of shoe I’ve ever tried on) was too big.

There are two minor improvements I’d like to see: the seller including heel to toe measurements that correspond with their sizes, bc in this shoe, their sizes seem to run a half size larger than US sizes; and maybe make the accent color in the shoelaces gray, white, or even all black (I don’t love the fluorescent yellow, and it IS fluorescent – not a pale yellow or off-white it looks like in the pics).

but if you need a pair of work shoes that will be heavy duty and you won't mind getting dirty if you're painting or doing home renovations or something, these are great.

At the current price of $12.99 they're a great value and worth having on hand for when you need some work shoes.

Breathable hiking shoes
These hiking shoes are made of a breathable material which is really handy when you're hiking.

They seem to have a pretty good grip on the bottom which is why they're hiking shoes.

They’re a little more rugged than the average sneakers, so they’d be excellent for hiking (although that’s not my jam).

Their customer service is amazing as well…I ran into a problem after ordering them, so I sent them a message.

They responded very quickly and directed me on how to handle that issue, and the original order issue was resolved.

I ordered the purple which is a very pretty color so I'm very pleased with these shoes.

However the inner part fabric is falling apart after few wears and couldn’t return them.

A bit narrow around the top of the foot even when unlaced - I'm wearing a size 9.

For the amount of wear I have got out of these im not very happy as they are not cheaper and I've bought Salewa boots for years.

I am not sure why they have a cover over the laces and they seem to smell like cat urine if they stay wet for too long,

I hike a dirt trail with an occasional section of caliche, and never did I feel less comfy with this pair.

Just finished an 8mile hike earlier today and they exceeded my expectations!

Almost allways I order a size 12 in whatever shoe I buy, probably could wear 11 1/2.

These shoes arrived and were very narrow at ball of foot.

So narrow there was no way I could have worn them.

These hiking shoes are really comfortable and have excellent traction.
