New Balance MID589 Men's Boot 9.5 D(M) US Black-Grey

strap

As for the fit, even shoes my size I sometimes have to adjust the shoe laces,

If NB use metal eyelets for the laces and sturdier upper materials — it would be a home run.

sneaker

Unfortunately they don’t come close to being as comfortable as regular sneakers.

but they're close First off I just bought other NB sneakers (not safety shoes) because they make 4E wide and they ran a little on the small size, not these.

slippery

but my feet still slide side to side because the D width is just way too wide.

size larger

Only let down is the size Had to exchange for a larger size,

work shoe

work shoes fit good and last a fair amount of time Nice shoes bought for my grandson for his job he loves them

I have yet to find a work shoe or boot that is actually comfortable.

Being work shoes you’d think they’d make the insoles extra cushy since they know you’ll be on your feet all day….

Great Work Shoe at a Value Price This is a great shoe and a tremendous value for the price.

This is a work shoe, not a trail shoe, not a running shoe, and not a cross-training shoe.

Fairly Comfortable Work Shoes I bought these shoes for the safety features.

Go to work shoe for construction workers!

I highly recommend these work shoes for a repurchase.

Fits Wide Well, Likely Fail on Quality It’s very hard to find a pair of low-cut work shoes that provide to protection for extremely wide feet.

trail shoe

comfortable

Comfortable, Stylish and Durable Very good shoes.

These are very comfortable and lightweight compared to the composite toes boots.

Comfortable day one with no break in period.

Perfect These are the most comfortable steel toe shoe ever made.

Comfortable I've worn these for 2 weeks now.

Very comfortable fit, very generous wide width, excellent quality toe protection.

Light and comfortable I've never used a composite toe shoe before,

They're safety shoes so you expect them not to be as comfortable as regular shoes,

I am a 10.5 and ordered as such, and the fit is perfect.

I have a pair of Fresh Foam NB shoes which fit great because they're 16 Narrow.

They do seem to fit well, which is what NB is known for for wide feet.

boot

Nice shoes I bought these composite tie tennis shoes because boots are too heavy and hot in the summertime.

I do own a pair of Redwing boots which are size 15D, with a composite toe, and they're surprisingly comfortable.

Most safety shoes that are nice and wide are work boots.

uncomfortable

I went on some longer walks (2-3 mi) and felt no rubbing or discomfort.

strap damage

The upper lacing holes are actually loops of cord that run down to the heal - not just at the top of the lace area.

About the only negative is the length of the laces.

I had to cut them back soon after getting the shoes to prevent the laces from flopping onto the ground.

stiff

If you are on rocky surfaces (talus or screed especially) the sole is not nearly stiff enough.

sock

A 1/2 size larger might have also worked and allowed for heavier sock,

small-size

The tread on these shoes is quite deep and small rocks get easily lodged in them.

had to return/exchange

I had the weekend to recover, so I put the orthotics in before returning to work on Monday.

width

but ordered an 11 x-wide per another reviewers recommendation.

The narrowest width offered is probably a D, which is way too wide for me.

We purchased extra wide size 15 and it worked out perfectly for him.

width foot

but my wide feet have a hard time with the width.

but between the arch height being too high for my feet and the width being too thin they don't really work for me.

toe shoe-box

stretchy

Dry conditions with small rock the tread tends to lose bite.

sole damage

right around 200mi, the outsole began to split apart and tear away from the midsole, while that useless fabric "plate" layer in the sole also came unglued and allowed rocks to lodge and cut in underneath.

purchase

Saucony Womens Excursion Tr15 Trail Running Shoe

They have quite a bit of cushion and are lightweight.i have a very wide front foot area and usually normal wide shoes are just barely wide enough.

I have somewhat wide feet and it seems that running shoe boxes keep getting narrower.

I wear an 8-1/2 Wide in most athletic shoes

size

This model lacked arch support and was 1/2 size too short, so I returned it .

Saucony Excursion TR15 size 10.5 Go up a half size.

Unfortunately, they are out of my size and have been for a while.

Not sure if a bigger size would have made a difference

but I really wish I would have tried a half size bigger.

width heel

Needless to say, my narrow heel slipped all over the place and I was ticked at being scammed.

Even more upsetting was that I got a half size larger due to it being steel toe and I have rather wide feet and how huge they look on my feet.

Caused on going foot and heel problems Very very uncomfortable and heavy.

sweaty foot

They are quite heavy, bulky and make my feet sweat a considerable amount

walking

I tried walking around the neighborhood in them hoping they would somehow loosen up

By the end of my walk it felt like my toes were getting cut off.

but Cheaply Made The plastic sheath around the cloth of the shoe has ripped along the sole after one month of use.

wear damage

Fit ok, already torn up after a month Ok fit, reduced stars because after only a month of use the top mesh is breaking down and worn a hole.

expensive

average shoe overpriced shoe was an average fit-nothing wrong with it

damage

ankle support

however I tend to invert as I step, so personally I would like a little more support at the ankle.

sole

Brooks Men's Catamount 2 Trail Running Shoe

But too narrow for my feet, and there's only one width.

strap tightness

The Catamounts mold to my feet, and even without tying the laces tight, there is no side to side foot movement on the trails.

Also they felt a little stiff for the first 2 miles walking in them and after that they felt fully broken in.

I wear thin socks and it took me a few runs to get the laces adjusted.

sizing

Sizing medium too narrow The medium was far too narrow.

The shoes are also super lightweight with enough

Comfortable, great cushioning, great traction in lightweight.
