I’ve added some conditioners and oil’s to the leather, it was very dry when arrived.

Not a lasting boot
I have been looking at these boots for a while turns out the quality of these boots are like old school timberland boot thin leather and not reinforced stitching not a work boot that will last add a another 50$ and get a boot that lasts years

Quality wise the leather needs some finish applied as it looks almost raw

Absolute garbage sole fell off second day just glued on

The only minor downside I have sue to the nature of my work, is the lack of gripping force of the sole.

These are my primary "weekend warrior" boots for mowing, snow blowing, etc.

After the break-in period, they fit perfectly and are comfy to wear on long walks with my dog or stomping around the yard when I'm doing yard work.

After wearing them at work for a few days and expecting new boot blisters, I was pleasantly suprised.

Note:  these are too comfortable and I dont want to wear them for work and tuin them!.

Overall I’d say the boots are a decent quality for the money spent.

I've had this boot for ~1.5 years now, and they have become my daily driver when I'm doing any work outside, walking the dog in the cooler months, or just want to wear something more heavy-duty than a pair of sneakers.

The build quality is great, and after putting some miles in them, I haven't experienced any degradation in the quality of these boots.

Great quality boot
Much more comfortablethan the Georgia boots i bought, felt like those were squeezing my foot at the same size.

but the build looks just as solid as the Georgia boots i returned.

Ankle support is alwaya something im looking for in a boot and when tightened up these do nicely.

I'll preface this review by stating I do not wear these for my job.

These boots have held up and I would gladly buy them again and will buy again when these wear out

They have been quite comfy to walk around in during the day and are already loosening up nicely.

These are the most comfortable boots out of the box I have ever owned.

Poor wear quality
I bought these boots for our 13 year old son to wear on the farm for chores and other daily work over the summer.

However, 8 weeks of wear is a poor value.

but the wear quality of these just doesn't justify the purchase.

The stitching comes undone and the toe cover wears out very fast.

Not a great hiking boot
I wore these on a 2 mile moderate hike which is a pretty decent incline where you have to navigate terrain that requires you to step up.

However, after those 8 weeks, the boots broke down where the rubberized toe meets the sole of the boot.

Even the soles are holding up phenomenally and I'm NOT a dainty little girly-man.

but disappointed that even brand new the leather was not conditioned well enough to repel water when walking in grass with dew on it.

I got a blister on my heel due to that and it was very uncomfortable to walk in these.

They worked well for all of June & July while feeding cattle, mowing lawns, and haying.

and working in the yard they should be just fine for that.

Great warehouse boots
I bought the boots to wear at work in a warehouse they work great.

We bought a pair of Danner boots on sale for $100 in early August and they're still going strong in late October.

We really liked these boots while they were functional,

The leather of the boot was very dry and soaked up water when walking in wet grass.

Great Product
Husband has worn same style boot for years.

Anyway, the first pair of Ariat Terrain boots are still going strong after 5 years.

but I wouldn’t wear them around a construction site.

they fit tight, I wear 12 I order these in 13 as I order most of my work boots, and like most work boots, one size up, they fit right, and better with insoles.

I wore them on a work trip, and when it was inadvertently extended a couple of days, I walked into a shoe store, tried on a pair of sneakers, felt instant relief, and walked up to the counter with these in my hand to pay for the sneakers.

I work in a metal foundry and these boots handle the rigors of the job so far.

I picked up a pair of DR> Shols heavy-duty work inserts and noticed the instant relief and change.. they by far are not your grandaddy's work boots so don't expect to hand them down

That being said, they are great work boots,

So, here we go, I am NOT going to compare these with a $200+ work boots, while these are very good, I am not ready to compare them to my heavy duty ones.

if these last me 6 months, they will be worth it as I change $200 work boots every 6 months anyway.

If you need some for really heavy duty work or electrical work, well, you do what you need to.

but, for around $10 you can get a very good pair of heavy duty insoles from many brands, and everything is fixed.

not some imitation "Corinthian Leather" +Soles are very grippy, and soft enough to absorb good shock even with the included insoles (see below for negative) They grip the road and floors very good, great for Motorcycle riders!
