My only issue is at times it would start to slip off and they would be walking on the "sock".

Only issue is when my daughter has them on and is not walking and is just playing on ground and moving around, they easily start to slip off due to the grippy part catching on things.

Love these for littles who are still learning to walk, walk in the mud, and all over creation!

Bought these for my grandson when he first started walking.

I bought these for my 9 month old baby to wear while we went camping for 4 nights.

For the camping trip I put him in a regular pair of baby socks and put these over them for extra insulation on those chilly mornings and for that it was great.

I also use them for him to wear on our stroller walks to keep his feet warm and they have the durable bottoms in case he wants to get out of the stroller and play outdoors a little.

The ankle strap doesn't quite sit flat on my foot,

but it's not a dealbreaker, and the fact that there is only one slightly adjustable velcro strap on these means they're quick to get on and off compared to other Teva styles.

but the straps trapped a lot of sand against my feet which made me feel like I was wearing sandals made of sandpaper until I could get rinsed off -- that was very uncomfortable and pretty disappointing.

They also didn't feel the most secure on uneven and rocky terrain; the looseness of the front strap meant my foot would slide around in the sandal.

My only problem with them is that they need to be broken in when my son first wore them he had cuts on the sides of his feet.

My son usually wears a size 12.5-13 and size 11 in this shoe is too big.

🤷🏼‍♂️ So this is the third pair I have ordered for my son, they were all too big I ordered a 5 a 3 and a 2 thinking that they would get smaller.

Other than that they are cute, not heavy and will work for kayaking.

I also hoped they might be great sandals for the beach and campground showers.

In the end, I think they'll be perfect for the river, splash pads, and certain activities and we're keeping them.

Dang good sandal for outdoors and water use These are put together well, are comfortable and reasonably priced.

Still worth it, especially if you spend considerable time outdoors and in/around water.
