My grandsons favorite shoes
These are great for hiking

No slips or complaints
My 7yo daughter wore these for a week of hiking in Peru (Machu Picchu and rainforest) and these were comfortable and sturdy for her.

You can tell that these were made to withstand abrasion and tough outdoor conditions.

Update: this shoe is still the best walking shoe I’ve ever owned.

I can walk for miles with my dog and never feel like I’ve taken off my fuzzy house slippers.

Or ally a size 7 and I put my finger on where the end of my toe is in the shoe and you can still see a bit of space; therefore, when walking the toes have room and shouldn’t press against the upper fabric.

However these are nice too an will go with my comfy walking clothes or denim shorts. #OnlyJesusSaves

It actually feels more comfortable and roomy

I’ve found that they hold up better than any shoe for my active boys.

All in all, I'd say Merrell has brought the quality and style sensibility from their adult shoes to their kids' line quite well.

The only reason I dropped off the star is because these are labeled as fit wide feet

Meanwhile the shoe remained narrow for even a medium  (B) width shoe.

Because of how narrow they were they started to rub on my kid’s side of big toe and pinky toe within just a few weeks of wear until we decided it was not worth getting calluses at such a young age.

Realized too u really need to do the the sizing right by taping the ruler to the floor against the wall.

I'm a bit bummed that these don't appear to be available in a larger size, so we'll be on the lookout for a new shoes in a few months.

Great walking shoes
This is a great walking shoe, fits wonderfully and is true to size.

My granddaughter didn't wear shoes until a year old and these shoes being put on opposite feet does the trick when she is walking, corrects her feet and you can't even tell they are on the opposite feet.

Perfect 1st walking shoes for my 10m old!

Clearly these shoes helped give her walking confidence cuz she let me lead her outside & even went on the grass!

Perfect fit, so comfortable
My daughter is almost two, and has always resented wearing socks and shoes (or long sleeves, or sometimes pants).

But the next morning, she let me put them on when she was getting dressed, and she has willingly worn them daily since then.

It took her a few wears to get accustomed to the tread and resistance since it's much stronger than moccasins, she can't drag her feet in these or else she trips.

They also have nice fabric lining so the back of her heel isn't getting cut/blistered as she's wearing them in.

From day one my daughter had no problem wearing these shoes and would actually go grab them and sit and try to put them on her herself.

The shoes themselves are machine washable and the Velcro itself has not worn due to wear and tear.

I also bought the Pedag Bambini leather inserts which helps as well.

So happy I bought these I had to write a review an hour after receiving them.

I will purchase more as Amazon gets better looking ones,

When I got the shoe it wasn’t the right fit.

He was under 1 at that time, and I ordered a size 3, and they did not fit his foot,

They are super light in weight easy for my son to walk in.

It is not stiff and is flexible for the child to get used to walking.

Definitely recommend for “walking” shoes for toddlers.

These are the ideal “walking” shoes for toddler just taking their first steps assisted.

The toe is hard preventing injury from when kids walk on their toes.

Nice toddler shoes
Got them in size 5 for my 18 month old they fit perfect she can walk with with no problem so far, and they look super cute.

And she can wear them around the house or out.

I got these for my 2 yr old to wear around the house and stuff and they are great.

Therefore, it’s not supporting his ankle and keeping it straightened.
