Ok hiking boots in terms of comfort

I wore them to a snow day and they were great while walking around
They are warm and comfortable and am able to walk through shallow (inch to inch and a half deep) water without leaking.
but was out recently for a nice hike through the frozen sludge after a foot of snow had thawed and refrozen.
Much to my dismay, my feet got soaked with icy cold water, for the rest of my hike.
There was feet of snow that I hiked through.
These are just as good in the water proof and warmth capabilities as my previous Lowa hiking boots that cost $235 six years ago.

Walking around in wet grass soaked them pretty quickly,

Since I don't plan to wear these type of shoes for long periods at a time, I cannot comment on how comfortable they would be to stand or walk in for hours on end.
