Columbia Men's Pivot Mid Waterproof Hiking Shoe
Recommend this shoe for people who use it for hiking and cleaning.
These shoes are great on comfort and feel great even after long use of hiking.
I walk thru fields in the morning and my feet stay dry.
I went hiking in them and they held up fine.
Shoe also makes crunchy bag like noise when walking
Excellent shoes, comfortable and it feels like I am walking on air.
He just wears for daily work and walking.
A perfect fit (rare to find online), and extremely comfortable for walking in.
I look forward to actually hiking in them soon!
They were perfect for some light hikes in Utah and will be great for heavier hiking in the future.
NORTIV 8 Men's Waterproof Hiking Boots Mid Ankle Leather Hiker Boots
Just got back from a 5 day hiking trip in the Colorado rockies!
On my next 3-mile hike, everything was great.
While I am on my feet a good portion of the day, it's not all day, and it mainly walking between my office and the loading dock to receive lightweight boxes in.
I will use these boots for daily yard work and walking my dog several miles a day on asphalt and gravel roads.
Decent light hiking shoe
$55 - $189.68
Merrell Men's Burnt Rock Travel Suede Hiking Shoe
2nd pair, can walk all day (city tourist hiking)
but they seem like they would be fine for light hiking in good conditions.
work and casual walking
Excellent fit, light, comfortable on five mile walk today..no break in needed
This is a great shoe for walking.
but amazing when walking.
Great looking “walking shoe.” This is not a hiking shoe.
I like these.Very comfy for hiking and exploring around new cities and areas.
Regardless, they met their need and provided a very comfortable shoe for city walking and like hiking.
but it is a stretch to call them hiking shoes.
CAMEL CROWN Men's Hiking Shoes Low Top Trekking Boots Non-Slip Walking Sneakers for Outdoor Work Trail Casual
The price is right for these waterproof hikers and they look great.
extended walks through a wet field will leave you with damp feet.
Good quality hiking boots.
I hike daily in the Sierra Nevada Mountains which are right out my front door.
I have taken two 4.25 mile hikes and worn them while shoveling snow from my driveway and they have yet to disappoint.
awesome hiking shoe, definitely recommend.
Got these more for work since I'm on my feet 8 plus hours a day and they seem pretty sturdy They weren't to bad on a recent 5 hour hike with a 2000 feet elevation gain with a lot of scree and loose dg, and I had only worn the shoes a couple times before that.
If I wore them hiking again I'd wear some thicker socks so my feet didn't slide around in them to much.
I have used these for hiking.
This pair of hiking sneakers are VERY sturdy, and professionally made!!!!
$67 - $227.63
Columbia Men's Newton Ridge Plus Ii Waterproof Hiking Boot Shoe
Light weight and great for hiking!
fits great and walks comfortable, i like them a lot.
love theses boots and the comfort they provide when i go hiking.
Super lightweight, waterproof, and great hiking sole.
Basically they're stylish hiking boots that feel/look like athletic shoes.
Strong arch support for hiking on rugged terrain.
True outdoor wilderness testing NOT mailman or warehouse worker testing.
Just below the shoe laces submerged in Ocean water, mud, rivers and snow my feet stayed dry.
Through several days of 8 hours of continuous rain, walking through mud, puddles and rivers my feet stayed dry.
Walking on wet river stones, mud, packed snow, dangerous trails with deadly drop offs, I felt absolutely confident with each step.
$78.11 - $182.4
Merrell Men's, Moab Edge 2 Hiking Sneakers
I bought these for hiking and they are awesome.
These are the most durable and comfortable hiking shoes I've ever owned.
but they're perfect for camping, hiking, climbing, and walking.
Overall a very comfortable shoe when walking/hiking uphill.
I do a lot of walking and I have tried various brands of shoes with varying degrees of success until I found these.
Great support for more than just hiking and is not heavy.
I really hoped they would break in after a few walks.
I bought a pair for my son because he is going on a 50-mile hike.
Extremely stable yet comfortable shoe, especially for hiking and pavement walking.
Hopefully, it has same outcome when he is hiking!
$79 - $200
Merrell Men's J066199 Running Shoe
I’ve worn these for a total of 15 miles of light trail and street running.
Wasn’t much for the feel during running,
I did find my new trial glove running shoe, the New Balance mens minimus V10 trail barefoot running is perfect!
I chose these because I love my Merrell hiking boots.
I needed a shoe that’s good for light hiking, while being able to drive my manual car without swapping shoes.
I’ve been on a few short hikes and have been really happy with the feel of these both on the hike and the drive to and from.
The trails that i walk on are surfaced with rough gravel and dirt and i had no issues with these shoes.
I have been running in merrells for a few years and absolutely loved version 4.
Good for walking around, bike riding and trail walking.
I handle fine art for a living and use this brand for this purpose as well as trails and outdoor excursions.
$87.51 - $219.09
Merrell Men's Cham 8 Stretch Hiking Shoe
I love this hiking shoes!
The original Chameleons were, IMHO, a perfect, lightweight, multi-purpose day hike shoe.
They were easy to slip into and exceptionally comfortable; the originals were like “hiking sneakers”.
If you are about function and being able to walk upright when you're 75, this is the shoe for you, men and women.
they help me walk outdoors.
Two of them in two different color has heel in right shoe that creeks when he walks.
Walking and hiking
Hiking, traveling, biking, and through airports these are great shoes.
I've owned 5 different pairs, and often wear them as my everyday shoe in additional to using them as light hikers.
These are great hiking and working shoes.
$91 - $140.34
ECCO Men's Rugged Track Low Hydromax Hiking Shoe
Bought for husband to hike in.
but dirt or even light dust is very visible on a leather which makes them look ugly even after short walk to a nearest grocery store.
The front of the shoe is not protected by rubber or extra layer of leather which also shows that they are NOT rugged or hiking shoes.
I have had these shoes for about 2 months, and I take them over dirt, track, all kinds of walks.
But a good rugged shoe that should last a good long time, especially for long walks.
but when you pay that much for hiking shoes you shouldn’t have to worry about something like this.😡
Good shoe for walking
This is an excellent walking and hiking shoe, I'm good in it all day.
$109.96 - $215.56
Oboz Sawtooth II Low Hiking Shoe - Men's
The Oboz are really comfortable and provide excellent support not just for hiking and walking,
but also a great outdoor work shoe/boot.
My first out with them was a six mile hike on a very uneven, rocky trail.
I have worn every day on morning walks and working outside since I got them about a month ago.
I bought a pair of these hoping for basic outdoor hiking shoes.
I have hiked Glacier, Yellowstone, Sequoia, and Kings in this boot and looking forward to Denali in July.
I frequently hike the Ventura County Ca trails and these are a perfect choice.
Great for summer hiking and I have the insulated version for winter.
Best shoe out there for hiking or daily wear.
$119 - $140
La Sportiva TX4 Approach Shoe
Just took these shoes for a 6 mile hike.
They were comfortable throughout the hike with great traction!
They broke in after two moderate hikes and the fit is perfect now.
The vibram megagrip (climbing zone) is good
Climbed a class 3, 4, and some easier class 5 pitches in these.
There was a few instances where my foot slipped (not fun when you're 13k in the air free climbing and scrambling).
but my mountaineering boots perform better in all aspects of climbing.
As scrambling/easier class 5 climbing shoes they're a solid 4 out of 5.
As hiking and approach shoes (no difficult scrambling etc..) they're a solid 6 out of 5.
I've never had this issue with any other approach, trail running, or mountaineering shoe/boot.
$127 - $260.36
Merrell Men's Moab 2 Prime Mid Waterproof Hiking Boot
I wore the first pair only to ride to the store and some light hiking.
though if you wear them every day or hike alot.
I only buy Merrell boots for work and hiking.
Excellent hiking boots that fit well.
For my outdoor or mountain hiking.
I've done two 15 mile hikes in them (& several shorter hikes) & they're really comfortable & supportive.
but my first impression is that these hiking boots are better than I expected and being a Merrill, my expectations were already high.
After 10 days or so of light to moderate hiking in dry and snowy conditions I am very happy with this purchase.
but they seem like they should hold up to hiking well.
After my first day of walking mostly tilled dirt i didnt think much about it.
$130.5 - $259.45
KEEN Men's Tempo Flex Low Height Lightweight Waterproof Hiking Shoe
I wore these with gaiters on a 5 day guided trek in the Peruvian Andes with a short break in period.
I own other Keen shoes (medium width)--namely hiking shoes--that fit beautifully, and Keen really is a good quality product.
They are lighter weight than other hiking boots we have, which makes you a little lighter on the feet,
These Keen Tempo Flex WP hikers are perfect for light trails.
I've used these hikers for over six miles so far (primarily on well worn trails with minimal grade changes).
I also have a pair of Keen work hikers that I have owned and used for well over a year now with no issues.
They've won me over as my go-to hikers.
The Tempo Low-Height Hiking Shoes are actually my 2nd pair of boots from the brand.
I've worn these boots on some family hikes, admittedly nothing overly demanding
These are really fantastic hiking boots and a good buy if you're even remotely worried about getting your feet wet.
Jim Green Men's Razorback Boots Lace-Up Water Resistant Full Grain Leather Work or Hiking Boot
I have worn them on serious hikes, as well as on casual walks with my dog, and I love them for both.
Don't plan a long walk or hike the first few times you wear these.
My 3rd and 4th toes are long and jam into normal hiking boots creating pain.
Good for moderate work and hiking.
But this will help strengthen my legs as I walk and work in them more.
but no dry socks Hiking im not sure man made trails possibly Not made for construction or out door work Perfect Bar Hopping Look good
I use them for hiking, clearing brush and yard work.
I mean you just have this solid stable platform to walk on and you put your foot down on rough terrain and there's no worry about turning your ankle.
I got my first pair of Jim Green's when I was a teenager and they kept me going for many years on many hikes and adventures.
Build quality is top notch, I would say these are perfect for trekking days on end whether it be paths, rocky trails, or in mud, these handle all those conditions.
$161.5 - $190
La Sportiva Men's Spire GTX Hiking Shoe
but make no mistake, this is a durable hiker with a protective (more rigid) sole, toebox and heel.
It is very comfortable for a hiker.
I can easily see myself using these for both mountain hiking and backpacking.
I had not originally bought them for hiking,
The Spire GTX Hiking Shoe was bought for hiking.
This is an early review and I've completed one "hike" with them,
but other walks.
I think I'm going to really enjoy these shoes and get many years of hiking out of them.
Literally the best low top hikers I have ever worn and I have worn them all.
Also, they looked tall and tippy compared to my Salomon trail runners.
