I have had several pair in the past and only had to replace them when the soles wore through, after a couple years of use.

As others have reported the soles of these boots are not very durable.

***further update*** A month in of light wear inside the house, bottoms are worn and now upon testing, are no longer water proof, seam reinforced and duct taped to seal soles, sad that for the price I have to do the same fix as $10 Payless slippers.

I guess they are the camping version of house shoes. If you are old enough to remember moon boots, in comparison, I would say they don't have the stiff rubber bottoms and don't fit as snugly,

I fleece bottom compresses and is not removable and that is the only downside I could find.

While I wish these had a little bit of a harder sole on them, they still have little grippies if you do wear them in your house (and trust me, I do.

My only complaint is that the fabric on the sole did not last as long as I would have like.

I sprayed the exterior of these booties with Kiwi Camp Dry, which hopefully, will keep them dry if my campsite is snow covered.

I was getting pins and needles when walking barefoot on our tile floor, and could barely walk at all on smooth concrete.

Even with socks, my feet got very sweaty.

In the cooler months our brick floors get pretty chilly and I swear it makes MY feet cold watching him walk around in flip-flops.

One of my favorite features is that I can toss them in the washing machine and the insole stays perfectly in place—such a thoughtful design!

BUT - you can throw them in the washer (not in the dryer though!).

I have washed and dried these and they have stayed in good condition, very soft!!

They can be machine washed and that's a plus.

I made the mistake of wearing them outside and they got wet, so i just loaded them in the washer.. we shall see how they hold up..
